These are some headcanons that I use for most of my stories and some explanations.
Canada is the king of passive aggressiveness. This is because in Canada a lot of people are passive aggressive, (eg. you bump into someone, you both apologize, and when walking away you start texting you friends about it and how annoying it was)
America seems like he understands Canada the most, but really doesn't. (Eg. Canada starts eating maple taffy, someone asks America why he does that, America just responds with that he has no idea)
Russia is 110% done with everyone and just wants to be left alone.
Britain is tired of everyone's shit but is polite none the less.
Britain seems calm all the time but the moment you aren't looking he starts panicking.
France is tired of everything like Britain but just tells everyone about it in French so only a few people understands them
Philippines is nice and welcoming but doesn't like turning his back on people or have people touch him.
America mixes up everyone's cultures by accident and it annoys everyone.
Russia is the son is of imperial Russia, but was adopted by USSR after soviet killed him.
Québec Canada is straightforward and seems rude but is actually very caring.
Australia is easily detracted and can't sit still.
New Zealand is very tired of people thinking he's Australia.
Canada's adopted, his really father is Iceland and his adopted fathers are France and Britain.
