Everything was meant to work out that day for the ill-fated William Afton.
Chris was meant to get his head chomped today by the weird pink fox in the Kids Cove, removing the loose thread from his long awaited master plan so it could truly unfold. Sure, he liked the boy, but he was his least favorite child and, honestly, who would miss him?
However, he hadn't expected the boy he had been seeking for the entirety of 2 years to be chilling at a cheap, plastic dining table having made reservations for a birthday party.
Chris, upon seeing him, gave a squeal of uttermost joy and ran towards his true father figure, leaping at the teen with enough power to cause the table legs to snap in half. They tumbled together into a jumbled heap, laughing happily like brothers always do.
For Michael had been waiting for them all along.
William was sputtering, unable to comprehend the scene before his eyes. A twisted, torn apart monster was grappling his child, slowly choking him to death. Its hands were wrapped around Chris's throat, attempting to strangle the lad who was screaming in pure agony. The body was torn to shreds, shreds of a grey tank top and blue jeans shorts barely visible as they were coated in blood and tangled in metal shards. But the face...it was a mangled mess of spring locks and gore. The eyes we're nothing more than empty sockets glowing a dirty white which bored holes in William's soul. A voice could be heard above the din of the pizzeria that only the man could hear.
"This will be what you become when your sins catch up with you, Father. A monster, just like what the world forced me to become. Why kill using my name? Why hurt the innocent for a half-a**ed ritual that won't even work?"
William began stuttering nonsense, fortunately not attracting confused nor concerned eyes.
"Is it curiosity, or perhaps ignorance that drives you to commit these tragedies? Or maybe...is it fun for you to harm and rip apart the families that weren't already affected by Fredbear's presence?"
Chris hugged his brother tighter, unaware of the conversation going on between the sinner and the victim. His dreams had just become reality, as his brother had returned after 2 years of absence.
"Father, I despise you. I can no longer to Heaven nor Hell, as your name has banished me from both. I was not happy or whole enough for this world and now... I can't even move on to the next. Why? Why do you continue to do this to me? To Chris? To Mommy and Lizzie? Why?"
Shoving past the nightmarish creature, William grabbed Chris by the arm and threw him at the white fox that was visiting the toddlers at the moment. He smirked as he flipped a small switch in his pocket, one for a shock collar.
The fox, dubbed Toy Foxy, started feeling, lunging at the children. Out of instinct, Michael immediately charged at the fox, throwing himself into its gaping maw and ripping it into pieces. The toddlers quickly joined in, unaware of the life-threatening danger but wanting to play.
Toy Foxy, now a tangle of wires, sank its sharpened teeth into the older boy's skull, ripping the upper part of the head clean off.
Chris started screaming, desperately trying to save his brother who was now dying again. However, he found himself being hugged by a pair of limp arms with a whisper of "Leave me." Sobbing, be ran back to William and hugged his knees, never wanting to go to another Freddy's location ever again.
William was highly disappointed. His only opportunity to rid himself of his burden had failed, and now it would never come back.
