Weiss Schnee x M!Wolf Faunus Reader Pt.5

You woke up a few days after the attack on Beacon, you felt groggy as you slowly looked around the room. Looking down at your hands there were bandages covered in blood from the wounds you received when Adam had stabbed them into the ground together. Simply looking at the wounds your brother had given you made you realize just how far he had fallen from the loving person you once knew. Rubbing your (E/c) eyes to wipe away the tears that had started running down your cheeks made you notice the bandages over your face and head. The eye Adam threatened to cut out was surrounded by small cut marks and your forehead had bled after he had grinded your head against the ground to muffle your screams.

"Awake at last I see." You looked up and saw Weiss's father entering the room with Weiss following behind him. She kept her head down as she always did around him and stayed quiet as he spoke down to you. "As grateful as I am that you were able to keep Weiss safe, I can't overlook how badly you let yourself get hurt. Do you have any idea how much your new leg cost me?" he growled tightening his fists at his side.

You looked down to your left leg that Adam had cut off and saw that it was there under the blankets. You placed your hand over it and felt the light metallic surface.

"I'm sorry sir. During the attack, I fought my... an old friend from the White Fang. I was careless and couldn't fight at my best." You lowered your head just as Weiss was doing, you were careful with what you said. He already had enough outbursts at you whenever the White Fang attacked his company, there was no telling how furious he'd be if he found your brother was its leader. "I know I should have stayed with Weiss and I'm sorry for leaving her side."

"As you should be. Though thankfully before the tower fell, people saw both of you fighting against them as well as the Grimm, keeping people safe. Because of that a lot of people have become willing to support me now that they've seen my daughter fighting for Atlas and my Faunus standing against those terrorists." An arrogant smile swept across his face, lifting up his mustache. To think that the thing he was worried about most was his and his company's image over his daughter safety. You gripped the blanket tightly to keep from saying anything you'd regret later. "So consider your new leg a reward for a job well done and of course I'll even let you rest a few more days with pay... Well? Aren't you going to thank me for my generosity?"

"I'm sorry, Mister Schnee! Thank you very much for taking such good care of me! I promise I'll try to get better as fast as I can." You faked a wide smile as you happily thanked him. You were actually grateful for the new leg he had given you and of course getting you medical attention, but the way he made it sound really annoying.

"That's more like it. We'll leave you to rest now, come along Weiss." He said as he left with Weiss behind him.

After he left you threw off the blanket and saw your new leg. The knee and foot were made of a bright silver metal while the shin had a soft black fabric covering the circuitry underneath. There were a few things that made it seem strange to you, however. There weren't any toes on your feet so it looked like you were wearing a bright, heavy boot on one leg and also how the silver metal kept shining and getting your attention.

You moved over to the edge of the bed and let your feet hang just above the ground, before finally getting off and standing up. Simply standing wasn't too hard after you got used to the difference in weight, but when you tried taking your first step you fell flat on your face. You fell down several times as you attempted to walk again, but after an hour of self-physical-therapy, you were finally able to take 3 steps before falling over... you were actually proud of this accomplishment after having fallen so many times.

You were too anxious to stay in bed so you kept on your feet trying to get your mobility back. It was the strangest thing in the world to you, but you whenever you thought about stopping Adams mask flash before your eyes and his sinister laugh rang in your ears.
