"ugh omar, thats so unfair!" we were playing monopoly and he had bought out the whole entire board.
"do you want to trade?" he asked peaking over at what little cards i had.
"no, you win." i threw my money at the board and rolled my eyes.
"whats wrong? sad you lost?" he mockingly pouted. he walked over to me and hugged me.
"oh get off, im just upset i lost to you." i shoved him off of me, crossing my arms.
"oh really?" he started tickling me, i was really ticklish. i laughed so hard that i fell onto my bed, omar on top of me. he stopped, looking into my eyes... suddenly i felt something for omar that i never felt before, but i wasn't really sure what it was. but i knew, i knew right after he kissed me, and when i kissed back. i knew i liked him.
"what was that for?" i asked pushing him off of me, sitting up.
"don't know, just wanted to see how it felt." he shrugged.
"thought you liked daisy though?" he laughed a little, going to pick up his jacket from my desk.
"see you tomorrow celeste." he waved. but i didn't want him to leave, i wanted to know why he kissed me. but i didn't stop him, i was in shock from what had happened, and from what I had realized. i liked omar. like, like liked him.
[the next day]
i got up and did my usual morning routine, todays outfit was black jeans with an oversized brockhapmton sweatshirt."hey celeste, can i talk to you for a minute?" my sister asked as i made my way down the stairs.
"umm sure whats up?" i asked, taking a bite out of my apple, kind of hoping she isn't going to ask for a favor.
"do like omar?"
"no? why?" i looked away, nervous that she would find out the truth.
"because, i think he likes you!" she pointed at me and smiled.
"he doesn't like me, you are over reacting... but um, whats makes you think this?" i started to bite my nails, it was a bad habit.
"he comes over almost every day and he walked down those stairs yesterday like he had just got some, if you know what i mean." she laughed.
"oh shutup, i know what you mean." i rolled my eyes and started my way out the door. "bye rose!"
