Chapter 1

No one's POV:

So far today was a cheerful day for Y/N, she couldn't focus at all. The only thing she could think of was the famous Shawn Mendes. While she was daydreaming, she didn't know that the bell rang for dismissal. When she got home her parents wondered what was going on in their daughters head that was making her so happy. Was it a boy they thought? Or was it something else? They had met your bestfriends but, nothing was going on between the two of you... or so they thought.

Y/N's POV:

While doing my homework, I couldn't stop thinking about how THE Shawn Mendes, who is also my bestfriend, asked me out today and then kissed me in the middle of the hallway. I looked up from your homework and realized that your parents came into my room with their hands behind their back and a concerned look on their face. "What?" I asked still smiling. "Is everything okay?" your mom asked. "Yes" I replied and your parents just looked at each other and smiled. Then they handed you two wrapped boxes. "One is from us and the other was on the porch with no name on it except yours. The one from us is to compensate you for helping around the house when we need you to." your dad said. "Also, honey is there anything you would like to tell us?" My mom asked. "No why?" You asked back, blushing and immediately looking back at your homework. I couldn't tell them that Shawn and I were a thing now. If I told them Shawn would never be allowed over ever again and I didn't want that to happen. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my phone began to ring. "Y/N, your phone honey." My mom said trying to point out my phone. By the time I picked it up it stopped ringing and immediately got a message from Shawn💖.

Shawn💖: hey love❤, missing you already and I really wanna hang out princess. Text me back when your done your homework. Love you💖.

I blushed even more, if possible, as I read the message. After I read it I messaged him back not realizing my parents were still in the room.

Y/N👑: hey muffin miss you too and yes we should hang out but, I don't want my parents to know just yet you know. Also I am just about done so I will text you immediately when I finish ❤. Love you 2💖.

No one's POV:

Y/n mom began to speak again, "Y/n? " her mom asked. "Yes mom?" Y/n said putting her phone down. "Open your gifts hunny." her mom said. When she opened the small box which revealed 4 VIP tickets to Shawn's concert in y/h/t.
