I'm your father

"Hello rye" he said
My mum turned to look at me
"Mum who is this and why is he here"
"He's no one and he just leaving"
" no I'm not, my name is Conner and rye I'm your.........

Rye's POV
"No I'm not, rye I'm your father"
When he said that I was so confused because my real dad died at least that what my mum told me.

" What no your not, that's my dad" I said and pointed to my stepdad "and my real dad died"

My mother stood there tears in her eyes she couldn't even look at me

"thats just what your mother told you rye, I am your dad and I can prove it" Conner said pulling out his wallet, he showed me a photo of a guy holding a baby

"Is that..?"
"Yes, it's you and me rye before your mother took you away from me"
I was about to say something when Andy come over hugging me from behind, he must have noticed I was going through all sorts of emotions right now

" you okay rye" Andy said
"Yeah, actually no i don't know"
Andy let go of me and stood next to me holding my hand he could see my mother had tears and in her eyes
"Oh sorry I didn't know I was interrupting something that's seems serious I'll go" Andy said
about to leave but I grabbed his hand and pulled him back to me.

"Stay please" I said
"Okay" he whispered
"mum is this true that Conner is my real father"
She couldn't say anything she just nodded her head yes and started to cry more.

I was so angry now, that I couldn't help but yell at my mum
"SO YOU LIED TO ME MY WHOLE LIFE PRETTY MUCH"
"Rye..." she tried to say before I cut her off
"NO I'VE HEARD ENOUGH I'M GOING TO MY ROOM" I yell back before she could say anything else. I stormed off to my room letting go of Andy's hand
I went upstairs to my room flopped on to my bed and let a few tears escape my eyes.

Andy's POV
Rye had stormed off to his room, his mother left crying into her husband arms as he took her to the bathroom to wash her red puffy face. I was so confused on what happened so I pulled Conner I think his name is out side, we both sat down out side on the porch bench. We sat in silence for a bit before I spoke.

" I'm sorry, it's not really any of my business but what was all of that about, you don't have to tell me

"No it's fine, I think someone should know the truth I mean you are ryes boyfriend right?"

"Okay, yeah I am how did you...?"

"I just guessed from when you come over before and wrapped your arms around him, he seemed to relax at your touch"

I couldn't help but blush "oh yeah, so what happened who are you?"

" I'm ryes father, real father actually"

"What how ryes real dad passed away before he could even get to know him"

"That's just what (Jen, ryes mum) told him but the real story is....

Flashback to just before rye was born
Third person
Before Jen and Paul (ryes stepfather) got together Paul had a child Jacob with another women (Laura)  before he met Jen, but after 3 years of being married Laura and Paul called it quits.

Before Jen and Paul met,  Jen also had a child with someone else named (Conner) Jen and Conner had only been dating for a few months before Jen found out she was pregnant with rye. They were both still young ish at the time, but both wanted to keep the baby and make it work and become a family, but 2 months after rye was born Conner started drinking almost everyday.

Jen decided she had, had enough of Conner drinking so she took rye away from him and left making sure Conner didn't have any contact what so ever with rye.

2 months after leaving Conner Jen and Paul met they clicked straight away and after 3 months of seeing each other they had decided to become official.  Jen and Paul didn't care they both had kids before metting they were going to raise their kids together as one big family.

A few months after Jen left Conner had stopped drinking and wanted to see his son he tried for ages to get in contact but never did he tried everything to see rye but Jen would never let him. until one day he got jen's number and call her.
Jen had got a call from Conner saying he wanted to see his son, but Jen didn't want him to see rye so she said no and never let Conner see his him.

Jen and Paul decided to never tell rye about Conner and just tell him that Conner  had passed away before rye was old enough to know of him.
End of flashback

"Andy I promise I tried everything to see rye, but Jen would never let me I don't know why, I mean I get I was drinking but that is because I had things going on, I had just found out i had depression and anxiety, I know it's not a thing to be drinking about because a lot of people have it, but it all just hit me so I started to drink, but once Jen took rye away I got my act together"

"Wow that's a lot to take in, but I guess it makes sense, maybe tell rye everything and then maybe you could have a relationship with him"

"I don't think he wants to see me, I'm just going to go"

"Let me talk to him I'll get him to come around I know it's probably a lot for him right now but I know rye and I know that he would love to get to know his real dad he used to talk about if you where still 'alive'  the things you'd  do together the things he would be able to tell you"

"Really okay, well here's my number if he does want to talk and get to know me then get him to call me I really want to get to know my son, I've missed out on so much through out the years"

"Of course,  I will go talk to him right now"

Conner had left, I went up stairs to ryes room to see him.......
