Chapter 10: here we go again

"Hi kat I knew you would come"

I couldn't make out the figure standing in front of me I walked a few steps closer and realized it was

harry.

I didn't know what to do why did he call me here I felt anxious

"Great to see you again kat" he said looking me in the eyes

"What do you want" I said with a sharp tone in my voice

"I just wanted to talk about the past few months an-"

"Past few months you were with my sister I've been on my own and happier" I looked down at the ground

"I know what did was awful I just" he paused

"Not just awful horrible all the pain and suffering I went through and all you could say you know what you did was awful" the tears started to fill my eyes

"I don't even know why I came here I should've figured it was you" I felt the tears fall down my face I walked quickly back to my car.

Once I got back to my apartment I went to go clean up after the coffee spill and the tear stains that remained on my face I slipped off my clothes and got into the shower I instantly felt the hot water hit my skin after all I've been through today I was in desperate need for this.

I got into bed think about what I said to harry how could he just say that everything suddenly becomes a blur to me when I drift off to sleep

knock on my door I walked to the door and checked out the peep hole and there my lovely sister awaits I opened the door and invite her in

"Well hello kat long time no see" she says as she walks into my apartment

"We did see each other a few weeks ago remember" I sit on my couch and grab a small candy

"I just wanted to stop by to see how your doing" she said heading back to the door

"Wow you came to check up on me how generous of you" I said in a sarcastic tone

"Why does everything have to be about you you make everything about you all the time" she exclaimed

"I wasn't making anything about me when do you suddenly visit me you could care less about especially when you boyfriend was abusing me" I argued

"Kat, I didn't even know about this you didn't say anything to me I've been oblivious this whole time" she stood in shock

"Oh really you knew what was going on all this time don't play stupid Esme"I got up from my seat I was so angry I couldn't even hold it in anymore

"I didn't even know and how is this my fault this is all your fault I even have to risk my relationships for you its funny how everything turns back to you again" she walked out the door slamming it

I was lost for words my mind was boggled with thoughts I couldn't even process what she said to me I didn't know what to feel I even tried to cry no tears fell the words she said hurted it was like darts pinching through my skin I just sat there looking at space I even skipped work for the afternoon as much as I wanted this to be over it never will she doesn't care as much as I thought she did everything is a missing puzzle piece that is yet to be found putting things together in my mind was frustrating.

I need to get my mind off this I grab my car keys and head to my car I got in put the key in ignition and drove around trying to clear my head of all the stuff I've been through the last two days I remembered the mess I've created the past few months and I couldn't help thinking that this was all my fault I'm the reason everything goes wrong I quickly realized I was lost and I didn't know where I was I pull over to the nearest gas station and try to ask for direction back home I walk up to a tall, dark figure as I look closer I see that it's harry that's the last person I want to ask for directions he turned around and looked at me directly in the eyes I quickly turn around heading back to my car and I hear footsteps approach me

"Kat" he said grabbing my arm

"Yes do you need anything" I said annoyed

"I think we really need to talk"
