Chapter 11 : assumptions

I feel like I can start writing again I'm finally off writers block I have new ideas and ways I want to take this story hopefully I'll continue to update regularly ;) - k

"I think we really need to talk" harry pleaded

I quickly walked back to my car ignoring him I felt Harry's hand wrapped around my arm he turned me around and looked me into my eyes

"Look Kat I'm more than just sorry I was just growing through some stuff but that was no reason for me to hurt you." his eyes started to water

"I know you didn't mean to hurt me but I don't know if I can forgive you you mentally hurt me also I'm still in pain I wish you could understand that." I opened the car door and drove off. I suddenly felt a headache grow through my head I could barely keep my eyes open on the road I felt my self grow weak and lightheaded I pulled over to the nearest Walgreen's

I walked into the store going to the medicine isle I grabbed the Advil and walk to the register I felt something hit me on the shoulder my reflexes got the best of me and I fell

"Excuse me you should really watch where your going." a familiar voice spoke

I look up and to my surprise my lovely sister was standing there

"You can at least help me up Esme." I got up and pressed my shirt down

"I don't care about you anymore so why would I help you." she walked passed me bumping into my shoulder once again it took me a while to process what she had said to me did she really say she didn't care about me anymore I felt more sick to my stomach the more I thought about it.

I laid in my bed my eyes stared up to the ceiling all I could think about was what Esme said to me earlier my mind immediately drifted to harry and his apology I still couldn't forgive him even the first time he apologized I didn't want to listen to what he had to say my face was starting to heat up and I felt tears arise they started to pour down my face I reached over to my nightstand and grabbed a few tissues I dried my face after I did that I turned over and tried to get some rest for work tomorrow

My alarm clock blazed sound through my ear I got up and started my usual morning routine I brushed my teeth, did my hair, etc. I slid on my khakis and my white tee shirt my feet slipped into my converse shoes I went downstairs for breakfast I quickly ate while my arms were pulled through my jacket I finished my last bit of the breakfast my hands grabbed the keys I lock my door and headed to my car I open the car door and started it up

The drive to the coffee shop was longer than usual I finally get to the shop when I walked in something felt unusual and different I shrugged it off then walked to the back to clock in and get my apron I noticed that Danielle wasn't here today there was a new girl that was working the cashier register she had long light brown hair I couldn't really tell egad she looked like because her back was turned facing me she turned around surprised by my presence

"Hi I didn't mean to scare you" I said in a sorry tone

"It's fine you must work here already" she says with a friendly tone

"Yeah I'm Katerina but you can call me Kat if you want" I say shyly

"I'm Sophia um I kinda of need help working the register" she says confusedly

"Oh it's really eas-" I was cut off by the sound of the door opening Danielle walked through the door looking as miserable as she was I wished she wasn't here right now I went back to trying to help Sophia with the register I finally get the cash drawer open

"Here there it is" I say feeling accomplished

"Thanks Kat I was really struggling" she giggled and went to go grab her apron

"You two were supposed to have the open sign turned over" Danielle snapped

"It's not time to open yet" I explained

"That's how I want it go change it now" she pointed at the door directing me

I went over to the door and flipped the sign over to the open side I wonder why she's being so bitchy today I went over to get the coffee started for the costumers

"No coffee until the costumers come" she pushed my hand away from the lever

"I'm just getting it started so we can be ahead" I argue

"No just go clean the bathrooms" she handed me gloves and the toilet bowl cleaner

"The bathrooms are already clean" I protest

"Maybe you can just go home we don't really need you anymore" she says sadly

"Your not the boss you can't fire me" I defended

That immediately kept her quiet I went back to the coffee machine and I started it up this was going to be a long shift Danielle has tried to Sabotage everything I've done this week why does she have such a problem with me it was her fault that our friendship was destroyed she didn't care one bit about me she only cared about her and Liam most of the time I realized that I had no one no friends no parents nothing at all not even my own sister

My shift was finally over I cleaned up the spilled coffee on the floor and went to put away my apron

"Ugh I'm so tired" I sighed

"I know why was Danielle so pissed this morning" she questioned

"I don't know she's always like that to me" I answered

"Um hey do you want to go to a concert with me tomorrow" she asked

"Sure that's sounds fun" I answered back

She gave me her number and walks off to clock out I grab my jacket and make my way to the door Danielle quickly jumps in front of me

"Tomorrow you have a 8 hour shift" she tells me

"Um I can't make it tomorrow I'll someone come in for me" I smile and brush pass her I press the unlock button to my car I get it and drive off hopefully I don't mess up my friendship with Sophia she's really nice and I don't want another Danielle on my shoulders I park in front of my apartment I get out and lock the door to my car

"Home sweet home!" I exclaimed

I slip off my shoes and my jacket I go upstairs change into my pajamas I wipe off all my makeup and I jump into bed what a long day it has been tonight I could easily drift off to sleep a smile creeps upon my face as I close my eyes
