"Why are the other trainees seem to be busy?" I asked
"They're doing composition class with Teacher Li" Mingming said
"They should do choreographing lessons too" I frowned.
"Shi Zhan" We all turned to the door and saw Zhenning and Mingzhe
"Hello" Shi Zhan said in the bathroom
"Ming, do you have grapes?" I asked Mingming. He then threw me a pack so I just sat on my bed and ate.
"So I was thinking..." Wenhan popped up from above since his bed is at the upper bunk above mine
"Stop thinking" I said
"She has been really sassy. I dont know why" Shi Zhan said as soon as he left the bathroom "Dont roll your eyes" He said when I was about to.
"God, you guys are really treating me like a younger sister" I said and continued eating grapes.
"You're eating that again?" Wenhan and Shi Zhan complained. I just rolled my eyes and fed one grape into Wenhan's mouth.
"So this is what's going on inside this room. I was always curious" Mingzhe said and sat on Mingming's bed
"So what did you two come here for?" I asked
"I missed you" Zhenning said
"Then why did you look for Shi Zhan as soon as you opened the door" I sassed
"Okay okay, we were bored" He said
"Lets just chat" Mingming said
"Tell us about 5 years ago" Wenhan said
"Mingming's emo years" I said
"Dude, no!" Mingming argued
"Yeah yeah, Mingming was a complete emo. He wasn't comfortable with Korean yet so he was really close with Minghao and Jun since they are both Chinese. I on the other hand was close to Jieqioung" I said
"Jieqioung? Last season's dance mentor?" Mingzhe asked and I nodded
"Jieqioung is from our company, dude. She's in pristin. I trained with her and Nayoung if I didnt leave, I would have debuted with pristin too but because of the Minghao issue... yeah" I said
"Minsheng and I didnt really converse that much back in the day. Due to the fact that I was close to Minghao that she despised, she wasn't close to me and Jun too. Among the Seventeen members, she's really with Soonyoung, Jihoon, and Mingyu" Mingming said
"I was also close with a former trainee who is now a solo artist of Brave Entertainment, Samuel" I shrugged
"So how was Minsheng?" Shi Zhan asked
"She was... mean" Mingming said
"That only applies to you, Jun, and Minghao. I was getting along pretty well with the others" I argued back
"Okay, okay. But I heard that she had a massive crush on Kim Jonghyun or JR of Nuest" Mingming said
"That was years ago!" I said
"Now that I think of it, JR and Zhenning kinda resembles" He said
"A crush that I had 5 years ago has nothing to do with him" I said and smiled sarcastically at him
"HIM. You're only a 'him' to her. Dont worry mate, I got you" Mingzhe said. Zhenning then slapped his head.
"Talking about ex crushes.." He said as Zhenning wrap his arms around my waist
"I'm witnessing major PDA" Shi Zhan mumbled
"Mingming and you had a little something in the first weeks" Zhenning said
"Woah, dude. Past is past" Mingming said
"You kissed" Zhenning shrugged
"Doesn't matter. You guys are a thing now" Mingming shrugged
"Is this what guys' conversations are? And no, we are not a thing" I said
"*cough* friends *cough* with benefits" Wenhan said so I threw a pillow at him
"Anyways, we were over it. She's yours now and damn she's like a sister to me now. I dont encourage incest" Mingming said
"What do you think the next mission is?" Wenhan asked
"Position Evaluation" I shrugged "What are you guys gonna go for?" I asked
"Depends" They said
"I'll do dance and that's for sure" I said and they chuckled
"Before we forget, It's Minsheng's turn to buy food from the convenience store" Shi Zhan said
"What? Already?" I asked and the three nodded
"Come on. I'll go with you" Zhenning said and carefully pushed me up.
"Dont do anything inappropriate while you're out there" Mingzhe said
"what the-" I was about to say something but Zhenning already dragged me out.
While we were walking, he was playing with my hair and I didnt even complain because he's too childish to argue with. When I got tired of it, I just hugged him from the side while he dropped his arm on my shoulder, still walking.
"You guys are a pain in the eyes" Lin Mo said as he walk with us. I just stick out my tongue at him. "So where are you off to?"
"Store" Zhenning said
"Okay. I'll go to Yao Chi" Lin Mo said
"Hey, Momo! Tell Yao Chi to show me some pics later" I exclaimed as he walked away. He just made an okay sign before going in Yao Chi's room
"Momo? Out of all the trainees here, I only heard you giving a nickname for Lin Mo" Zhenning said.
"That was out of reflex. It just slipped out of my tongue when I was calling him. But it is a good nickname, dont you think?" I shrugged completely unaware that he was not happy about it.
"I guess" He said with a dull tone that I didnt notice.
"Zhenning!" We were already outside so the fans were calling his name like crazy and since I'm in a hoodie, I guess they think that I'm a staff member but that was until I turned to them when they yelled Zhenning's name like crazy.
"Hey" I grabbed Zhenning's sleeve and pointed at the fans. He looked at me confused before shaking his head and waved at the fans
"Are you okay? You look so lost" I said.
"I'm fine"
"Oh my god! ZhenMin!" The fans yelled. I just smiled and waved at them
"You look so good together!"
"Please date!"
"Minsheng, you're so beautiful!"
"Thank you!" I exclaimed before Zhenning grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the store that made the fans go crazy.
We greeted the workers when we entered before going off to buy some snacks. I prioritized my 'brothers' needs first so that I wont forget it.
Then I bought myself some grapes because I have craving for it like crazy.
"Oh look, Changxi likes these" I said as I point at a certain snack. "I'll just buy this and give it to him, Momo, and Yao Chi" I shrugged.
"I'll pay for it" Zhenning said
"What? No, I bought so much. It will cost a lot" I said but he still paid for the snacks leaving me no choice.
He then grabbed the plastics without saying anything and left the store.
