After having lunch with Richard, Mia was in a fix.
All she could do was ponder over his words, and all that she could think was that it was a really great offer.
However, accepting it would also mean working with Sebastian and that was definitely not something that she wanted to do.
Mia had somehow gone three years working in the same company as him, and yet staying out of his way. She felt like fate was working with her on this one and kept him away from her.
Now it felt like fate had just been toying with her all along, only to take a massive dump on her like this.
Mia thought that coming back to her home and talking to her flatmates, Nicole and Chloe, would help her come to a decision, however she overlooked one crucial factor...Sebastian was a good looking guy and so their opinion became biased due to this.
So you have the chance to be working for Sebastian Carter?" Chloe asked.
Ever since she'd come home from work, she had been sitting on the sofa in her pyjamas and listening to Nicole go on about Sebastian Carter and Chloe tell her to not pass up this opportunity.
"The Sebastian Carter?" Nicole repeated.
Mia suppressed the urge to roll her eyes at Nicole emphasising his name.
"The very one," Mia replied, sounding completely uninterested.
"Oh my God!" Nicole squealed, looking like a bunny on steroids in her excitement.
This time Mia really couldn't hold back the eye roll, and this was something Chloe noticed, including Mia's previous unenthusiastic tone.
"You don't even sound excited," Chloe pointed out.
"Because I'm not. Plus, I don't even know if I'm going to be saying yes," Mia replied.
Immediately, Nicole froze in her excited mode, as if ice-cold water had just been thrown on her.
"Mia, please tell me you're not actually thinking about saying no to this!?" Nicole yelled. When she noticed the blank look on her face, Nicole's eyes widened. "Mia, it's Sebastian Carter," She then said, once again putting a lot of emphasis on his name.
"You're going to wear out his name, Nic." Mia responded sarcastically.
Nicole almost had the urge to pull out her hair at how causal Mia is being about this - if only she didn't have pretty hair, she might actually have pulled it out.
"Chloe, please talk some sense into the girl," Nicole then said frustrated, falling onto the sofa dramatically to make her point.
Out of the three girls, Nicole Keahi was the more the outgoing type. She was definitely the kind of girl you noticed when she walked into the room, most likely because she probably walked in yelling, but still she was incredibly beautiful not to notice.
Her shoulder-length, dark-brown hair and bouncy curls seemed liked it had its' own personality. Nicole worked for a fashion magazine, and her room often looked like a tornado had hit, clothes thrown about in her attempt to get ready.
