Harumi pt3

Kai's P.O.V~

After Y/N ran away, We tried our best to ignore Lloyd. Emphasis on the tried. When he really needed help then we'd help him but when it was a minor thing we just gave him the hard shoulder. Doing this was hard definitely, because I always saw Lloyd as a little brother and I would help him with anything. But after he lashed at Y/N, it still wasn't right. Even if she tried to kill Harumi, she didn't deserve to be abandoned by us especially when she has been here from the start.
I could tell Lloyd was breaking more inside as he and Y/N told me about both of their feelings for each other. It was cute because they were both so oblivious. But seeing Lloyd fall For Harumi with one look I knew I should've said something but this was their battle and they had to fight it, together or not.Sure I was jealous at the start when we first met Y/N but I quickly got over it when I noticed her and Lloyd get closer, I do have my regrets from trying to kiss her that one day (from the chapter 'when he gets jealous') but when me and Y/N look back at that day, we're both able to laugh at it.
Being apart for a year has changed all of us, but after meeting Harumi, Y/N went quiet. she had a constant frown, her eyes were dull and she would be angry whenever Harumi was around.
Everyone thought it was because of her crush on Lloyd but I knew Y/N and I knew her and Harumi had history.

I was in the middle of packing a little bag when Nya came in.

"Hey Kai just wanted to-What's that?" I turn to look at her and she is pointing at the bag.

I zipped up the bag and hung it over my shoulder.

"Look, I don't know what Lloyd was thinking. So I'm going to go get Y/N back and we will solve this as a team, go tell Lloyd if you want but I'm still gonna go" I put my sword in my sheath and walked towards her.

"Wow, who would've thought the person with the biggest ego would be the most responsible," she leaned on the door and twirled her spear in her hand. "There could be anything in those forests so I'm coming with you"

Before I could retaliate, Jay, Cole and Zane popped up out of nowhere.

"And so are we, we're ninja and we never leave a ninja behind"Cole said.

I looked at all of them and sighed, "a few of us should stay here in case things happen"

"I need to finish an upgrade on my falcon so I will stay"Zane stepped said as soon as his falcon landed on his shoulder.

"And I was fixing one of the boosters so I will stay too," Jay went to go with Zane before turning around."Good luck"

Lloyds P.O.V~

My hands were trembling as I stared at a picture frame of me and Y/N when we were kids and just became the green and grey ninja. I picked it up out of hesitation and put it face down, not wanting to look at it any more. My hands went to my hair and I pulled at it, and at that moment, someone walked in.

I didn't bother look as I felt them sit down next to me on my bed and rub circles on my back.

"Lloyd, you did the right thing. I was going to die and you saved me. Words can't express how thank full I am," Lloyd couldn't hear the emptiness in her words, he was too soothed by them "so I'm just going to do this" Lloyd pulled his hands from his head just as he felt a little kiss on his cheek. At that moment he bawled his eyes out and hugged Harumi. As comforting as it was to him, he couldn't see it but Harumi was rolling her eyes and was fed up with how Lloyd was behaving, she wanted the attention on herself.

"Hey, it's okay, I once had to let go of someone" and that's how she manages to manipulate Lloyd.

Kai's P.O.V~

Me, Nya and Cole were about 30 minutes into flying and we still hadn't found anything.

"How far are we from the bounty?!" I yelled over the wind.

"Far enough that it's not on the radar anymore" Nya yells back.

I take that as a que to head back when I see something to the far left. I dive for it as Nya and Cole follow behind probably confused. We stop in the middle of a grey circle. Where there once was animals, now piles of ash. Where there was rivers, now just eroded dips in the land. We go down to the ground and look all around us.

"Was this Y/N?"Cole asked.

"It must've been, I mean who else would be able to do this"Nya answered.

I walk over to the epicentre of this destruction to find Y/N's bracelet, the one we gave her in case her power went over the top and her gloves didn't work. It was now just a piece of string that had two charms on it. I pick it up but it was hot so I dropped it out of reaction.

"Ouch!"I yelled.

Nya came over and put a water bubble around it and made it float up.

"She must be close"Cole exclaimed.

"Then we better find her before that storm comes in" I said pointing at the very dark cloud, coming our way.
