RECAP:
"And where exactly have you been?"
"Wait a second, he? You mean it's a guy?!"
"Give me his name, I swear I'll hunt that bastard down for hurting you!"
"Wait what, again?!"
"Arya, come back here!!"
"Ahhh, I'm sorry!"
"Doesn't the sky look so mesmerising tonight?"
"Just like you..."
"Whether we're destined to be far apart or together..."
"We belong together."

*Beep! Beep!*

*Beep! Beep!*

*Beep! Beep!*

Jolting awake by the annoying sound of my alarm I groaned as I reached my hand towards the snooze button and forcefully pressed it.

*Beep!—*

Alright, alright! I'm awake, jeez shut up!

A yawn escaped from my mouth as I stared at the ceiling for awhile, turning on my side I spotted the picture resting on the bed. I picked it up and held the picture, caressing it and admiring it one last time as I let out a sigh.

How long has it been? Almost a year and months now have passed since the incident.

I placed it back in the box and return it in the drawer of my nightstand.

And yet here I am struggling to erase the scars left by it that still stings from within and hunts me till this day.

I slid out of bed and wore my slippers, I went to the bathroom to do my business and to fix my disheveled hair before I headed on the hallway towards the kitchen to cook some breakfast.

I took out the frying pan and placed it on the stove, turning it on I then put oil in it leaving it for a moment to grab some eggs and bacon in the fridge.

Cracking the eggs in the bowl while I throw the eggshells on the bin and then mixing it I placed the now mixed eggs in the pan.

Of course, how could I forget? I lost something very important to me.

While cooking breakfast I heard footsteps on the hallway
heading towards the kitchen.

Looks like she woke up too early again.

"Goodmorning!" She groggily greeted before she yawned.

Looking back for a moment from what I was doing –there revealed Arya sleepily leaning on the door frame. I greeted her before I turn back and focus on what I was doing.

"Good morning! You're awake early" I greeted continuing what I'm doing.

"Yeah..."She replied, her voice trailing off.

"Still having those dreams again?" I asked, as no words were uttered.

"I see..."

"It won't be long till I finish here. Do you wanna talk about it while having breakfast?"I asked, glimpsing at her once again as she hesitantly nodded.

"Hey Darren, I'm heading out now! See you later, alligator!" She exclaimed, as she was at the door in her school uniform.

"Okay, take care. After a while, crocodile!"I replied.

"Yup! By the way thanks again for earlier"She replied.

"No problem!"I replied as she gave me a smile that smile that always send me butterflies.

"Anyways, I should probably go now. Take care, polar bear!" She replied as she closed the door shut leaving me confused by her response.
