RECAP:
"Looks like Darren isn't home yet."
"No, no, no! Not again!"
"I just want it to work just once... is that not enough?"
"Why?Why would they?"
"How could they?I thought they were my friends yet... why would they lie to me?.. I trusted them."
"It hurts so bad..."
"I can't breathe."
"I-I..."
"H-how could you..."

Darren"H-how could you..."She muttered, her voice cold and brittle laced with unspeakable bitterness. Her icy sapphire and amber eyes sliced through mine like daggers, impaling me deeper from the abyss of burden and guilt that I longed hidden from the walls that I built to protect me from this aching torment that spiraled through me, now crumbling into mere fragments as it unveils the secrets long hidden in silhouettes of the obscure past.
The silence that filled the small, cold and dim-lit room was deafening, and the slowly intensifying pressure from this tiny dark space felt suffocating. As if the cold wind that filled this tiny space wasn't cold enough, it has somewhat turned colder than it had already been.
Out of uneasiness, I bit the inside of my cheek, a violent raging storm emanating at a minacious rate within me as it progressively worsens every passing second while I stand foolishly still in silence within this dim room in which she stays in.
"I'm sorry..."I uttered out, the words coming out almost in a whisper. As I pondered what to tell her and what not to, I took a deep breath and swallowed the lump in my throat, terrified of revealing something I could never return—my heart pounding thunderously out of my chest.
"I trusted you... I trusted all of you" Her voice wavered, her cold stare replaced with a disheartened look as she peered at the photo.
"Why did all of you lie to me? Why did you lie to me?" She stressed, turning her gaze back at me, her gaze holding its own sharpness even with a disheartened look that never ceased to impale me more with my own guilt.
"I-I..." I hesitantly uttered, shakily taking a breath.
I took a hesitant step forward before I halted my own movement, taking a look at her form as my eyes bowed to the ground. Her slumped figure showed tiredness, despair, disappoinment, pain, rage and betrayal. I sighed as I ran my disheveled hair with my fingertips.
I really messed up, didn't I?...
Mustering up a bit of courage to meet her gaze, I spoke out once more.
"Arya, I-I think we should discuss this in another time when–"
"No."She cut off, as she raised her gaze to meet mine.
"I want to discuss this right now."Giving me a deadpan stare.
A cold shiver went down my spine as my eyes locked on hers briefly. With her rash remark, I gave her a widened stare.
"Arya, tensions are too high right now. If we discuss this right now, we might say things we might regret later on"I reasoned.
"Is it me who might say things I might regret later on or is it you who you are referring to?"She remarked, quirking a brow, the cutting acidity in her voice too sharp to comprehend.
"Arya.."
As she exhaled shakily, she took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. She took one last look at the photo before she raised it toward me.
