03. Ghost of the past

Alive or not, that is the question.

"How useless can you be to let him have escaped? You literally had one job."

"My apologies, sir. If you allow, I may go find him and-"

"No, are you mental? He probably ran off to Suho to bark about this, you stay here." The boss ordered. "Daniel!"

In an instant, the requested boy was at the boss's side, head lowered with respect. "Yes?"

"You and Wonho go find this so-called unicorn healer and bring him here, leave now."

"Yes!" And with the flick of the leader's wrist, the boy left to do as he was ordered.

"And you, my boy. C'mere."

The boy hesitated for only a mere second before walking forth, kneeling slowly before his new leader.

"Do you know why you're here?"

"To serve and protect you, sir." He replied softly.

"And?"

"And be utmost loyal to you only." He finished.

"Suho! Seungri's awake, and.. from the bits of what he spat out, it seems that.. Sehun's alive.." Xiumin rushed over to the already stunned leader. Stunned because first Baekhyun cries about being left out during some wild sex between his own members - and the news that Xiumin brought.

"What?!" He turned around to face the elder, shock written over his face. "That's not true, it can't be."

"It is true." As if on cue, Luhan walked out. Dark circles under his baggy eyes with the messiest bed hair; god, he really wasn't coping well..

"I've got proof." He held up the letter he got for his birthday, signed with his 'best friend's' name.

Suho scanned over it, eyes widening slowly. "Okay, here's the plan. Luhan, Minseok, Lay and Kyungsoo go to the cemetery and check up with him. And.. keep an eye on Luhan, please. I'll follow behind shortly, you've got all of us on speedial if anything happens."

Nodding, the three boys immediately exit for the graveyard, to see if it was true or not.

Baekhyun, meanwhile, was in the corner of the couch, having a moment and zoning out.

He still couldn't believe how he was left hanging, and now he either had three choices; relieve himself, have his 'friend' Chanyeol do it for him, or just mull about it sadly in the corner.
