09. "Serious" business

"Mornin' princess~"

The deep voice was vaguely registered within you as you were still half-asleep. It's not always that you skip school and get to sleep til' the afternoon hours.

Once your eyes were awake, you turned to look at the person beside you, or who the voice belonged to more specifically. And when his silhouette came in focus, you smiled dreamily. An angel..?

"Like what you see?"

It took more than a minute for you to have a clear sight of the man; the messiest bed-head and smuggest smirk upon Jongin's face. And god, that body...

That body. . . Why wasn't he wearing a shirt-?!

"Kai! Jesus, where's your shirt?!" You snapped with a heated face, bringing the blanket upto cover your face. "Are you naked even under the blanket?"

"I don't know, aren't we both~?"

You blinked and took in those words, sheepishly turning to look at yourself under the blanket and sure as hell, you were nude. The sudden flashback of last evening came to your head and how you both did.. "it." The thought itself made your cheeks heat up tenfolds.

"Jongin, we need you and— shit, am I interrupting?"
A loud Chanyeol barged in, suddenly recoiling at the sight of a shirtless Kai and you laying side by side.

"No, not at all. What's up?"

"Not at all, eh? Darn, does that mean this is an invitation for me to—" Chanyeol was cut off with a sharp glare from the other, this wasn't a time for jokes.

"Yeah, uhm. Lay has been taken hostage. We need everybody gathered in the living room in 10. Put on some clothes while you're at it~" were his only words before he slammed the door shut, leaving you both to some privacy.

"Who was supposed to be with him?"

"Doesn't matter. Yixing is a dumbass to just wander off like a lost kid lured with some candy. Stupid moron."

"Will you please not bash our own member like that, Tao. Regardless, this might also be connected to the rumors that Sehun is alive."

"We dug his grave up! He was perfectly fine! I mean, dead, but yeah. He was in the casket, and that's the end of it!"

"Shut up, Kyungsoo." Chanyeol huffed some, throwing a piece of chip at the said boy who shot him a scathing glare. But silenced up, nonetheless. Chanyeol and his chips.

"Y/N, what're your thoughts?" Xiumin turned to ask you softly.

"Yeah, as if she knows whether Sehun is dead or alive. Poor girl doesn't even know when her next period is-!" Baekhyun gave a solid roll of his eyes.

"I know for a fact that we're going to get nowhere bashing each other. We have to start by teamwork, how it used to be back in the day. I'm still unsure of everybody's powers, it's all too much to take in and remember.." You muttered truthfully.

"You know what my power is?" Baekhyun flashed the brightest smile, batting his eyelashes so dramatically. "Getting girls.~"

"Oh shut it! Says the one who got blue-balled." Jongin barked out in a fit of laughter, causing even the other members to snicker during such an important topic.

"H-Hey! Chan took care of me. I-I mean, he talked me out of it, like verbally. As in.. uhm, I gotta use the restroom. Be right back!" With a flustered face, Baekhyun suddenly beelined out of the room.
We all know what he meant by that.~

"Can we all please focus?" Suho had to step in with an exasperated sigh, getting everyones attention.

"It's simple, really. We go in, kill everybody in sight and take Lay back." Kris explain in a nonchalant tone, in the process of lighting up a cigarette.

"And the award for the most creative idea goes to Wu Yifan!" Jongdae's tone was laced with sarcasm and mockery, falsely clapping right in front of his face to irate him.

"Oh, then what do you suggest we do instead, genius?!" It wasn't all that hard to irritate Kris, not especially when you spoke to him in a taunting tone.

"We use our minds rationally and plan everything out, now. Everybody listen closely. This is our plan...
