my mate and i are sitting in the living room, cuddling on the couch and watching a movie, i hear the door open and pause the movie, my mate tenses, frantically looking around.
"Hey, it's okay," I sooth and wrap him up in a hug, "I won't let anyone hurt you," I assure him, he just nods and hides in my neck. Marley walking in, "Sir. We need your help with some stuff." He says
"Can't it wait a minute?" I ask looking at him trying to get him to realize that I'm busy. "Um, not really sir." He mumbles "Can we talk about it here?" I ask looking down at my mate. "Um.. well i guess. But its more about showing.." he explains "ugh... fine..." i sigh and shuffle my mate off my lap and onto the couch. "Stay here. Okay?" i say and he nods looking around worriedly "ill be right back, and if you get scared just call, okay?" I ask, he nod and relaxes a bit. I smile and walk out.
"Okay, now, what do you want?" I growl. "I wanted to talk about Howey.." Marley says shuffling. "what about him?" i ask, "Hes your mate right?" "Yes," i nod. "Well.. then we need to talk about introducing him to the pack and making him the luna.. and the pack hes from wants to talk to you. And we know you want him to feel safe but when are you going to let us back in the pack house?" He asks
I sigh "yes i know i need to get him settled first... and.. what do they want?.." i ask, "don't know they just said they needed to talk to you." he says, "Huh." I growl. "Well ill set up a meeting with them then. After you're all moved back in." "Alright, sir." He nods.
we talk for a bit longer before i go back to my mate. Whos still waiting on the couch for me. I sit next to him and let out an annoyed sigh before reaching for him. He tenses up and i pull him into a hug. he lets out a surprised yip but quickly calms and curls into me drifting off to sleep.
I smile pulling him closer. He's getting so much more comfortable around me, maybe I'll introduce him to some of the others when he wakes up. i pick him up carefully and carry him with me as i talk to my friends about how to introduce them to him. we sit and talk for a while, it's nice to talk to them again i hope my mate likes them.
after a few hours my mate starts to stur nuzzling into my side, i smile and kiss his head. he slowly opens his eyes looking around, his eyes widen and he tenses up when he sees my 3 friends sitting around. i tighten my grip on him to make sure he doesn't bolt. "its okay love, these are my friends, they're nice," i say and cuddle him, he nods but doesn't take his eyes off them.
i rub his side as i start introducing them. "this is my beta Marley, my head of worriers Lupin, and my head of trackers Luca," they bow their head respectfully as i point each one out. my mate nods again still seeming unnerved by them. "w-would you like some food?" Luca asks holding out some of his sandwich.
my mate quickly grabs it and starts eating, calming a bit and leaning against me. I smile the others offering him some of their food aswell, tails waging happily. My mate takes it all and quickly cuddles into me to injoy the food.
We continue talking as he eats. "Whats this?.." howey asks me quietly pointing at some pasta salad. "Looks like pasta salad," i say looking at it then Marleys bowl, "its good. I like it lots." Howey says and eats more. "You can have the rest, luna." Marley quickly offers holding out his bowl. Howey brightens and takes it, "thank you.. but im no luna." He says quietly looking at me, the words making my heart brake a little.
"But your mated to an alpha..." luca points out "yeah, that means your a luna." Lupin adds. "We.. arent mated yet..." my mate mumbles, geting quieter. "But you will be." Marley says "i guess...." my mate mumbles and i pull him close nussling him.
"Soon." I mumble, my mate tencing up and hiding in me. I sigh and cuddle him "sorry." I say "its okay.." he mumbles nussling my side. I purr and curl closer. The others watching him a bit conserned.
"Luna?.. are you okay?..." marley asks "yeah... please dont call me that...." my mate mumbles into me. "Ah... okay... ill try to do better." Marley nods looking at me confused.
"So... would you mind if they moved back into our house?" I ask my mate "back into?.." he asks "yeah.. i had them leave for a bit while you got comfy.. theres more that live in the pack house but it would just be them for a while." "Oh.... you did that for me?..." "well yeah, i want you to be happy and confurtable here." "Oh.. well everyone can... go back to normal... i dont want to... inpose.." "okay.." i say hesatently, noding. "Are you sure youd be alright? We can start with just them.. and maybe some others visiting if you want." I offer "Well i dont want them to hate me." My mate mumbles. "Why would they hare you?" We all ask surprised.
"Well... they would have to stay out of their house... cause of me.." "yeah.. but theyre just staying at other pack members houses. And you havent even been here that long. They wont mind waiting till your confurtable." I say the others noding.
"O-okay..." "so just them and people visiting?" I ask and my mate nods a bit, then hides in me. I nussle him and purr. "Okay love want to go back to your room?" I asks, and he nods again. I say my goodbyes and get up taking him back to the house.
