I didn't kiss your face today
but today I know I'm better.
A feather fell from heaven,
an angel sent a letter.
Scents of you still linger.
Loved with all my heart.
You've let me go, I sense it
but we'll never be apart.
Demons kept me hoping,
voices in my head.
Seeing you round corners,
walks amongst the dead.
I didn't want this freedom,
to never have the pain.
Your picture falls, not broken.
