8: I'm Sorry

"G-Girlfriend...?" Taehyung was in complete shock.

"You're joking right?" Taehyung chuckles in disbelief.

"No," Lisa smiles, "Why would I?" Her head tilted to the side in confusion.

"Oh...umm...how long have you guys been together?" Taehyung asked, feeling hurt.

"Two years from tomorrow, once we graduated from college, we decided to get married." Jungkook bit his bottom lip, looking away from the elder's stare.

"T-That's...very sweet..." Taehyung forces out a smile, "Jungkook, can I talk to you for a sec? Alone."

"Sure, Lisa, wait for me by the entrance." Lisa gave Jungkook a nod, and walks out from the room before she bids Taehyung a goodbye.

"It's too good to be true huh?" Taehyung begins.

"Tae, let me explain-"

"Explain? Explain what?" Taehyung scoffed, "You just promised me Jungkook, you promised me not to hurt me, in the end, you're just the same as Anthony, you're both cheaters and liars." Taehyung gritted his teeth at the younger, blinking his eyes quickly as if trying to hold back his tears.

"Tae, I swear...I swear that I like you-"

"You like me? Jungkook, you have someone, you have a fucking girlfriend! I trusted you, and now I'd just realized you were playing with my emotions."

"No! I'm not! Just listen to me..." Jungkook begs, walking closer to the other.

"That's it. Get out, I don't want to talk to you, and get out from my sight, I don't want to see you forever again." Taehyung shoves the younger away.

Jungkook's heart aches, hearing those words from the person whom he loves so much that it stabs into his heart painfully.

"I'm sorry..." Jungkook walks out, closing the door behind him.

Once the door closed, the younger can hear faint sobs inside that breaks him inside out, he really turn the door knob and go back in again to hug the elder, but he didn't, the guilt has him falling to the ground, quietly sobs.

5 minutes later

When Lisa sees her boyfriend approaching her, her smile immediately turned to a frowned one.

"Kook? You okay? Your eyes are red..."

"I'm fine Lisa, let's go for a walk, I need to talk to you." Lisa nods, then they walked, side by side.

Lisa tries to hold the other's hand, but Jungkook pulls his hand away.

"So..." Lisa begins, "What do you wanna talk about?"

"Lisa...I think it's time for us to go our separate ways..." Lisa's eyes widened. "It's not your fault, it was mine from the start." Jungkook said, lowering his head.

"Kook," Lisa let out a nervous laugh, "this is not funny, it's a joke right?"

Jungkook shook his head, "Sorry...I'm in love with someone else..."

Tears start to form in Lisa's eyes, "I thought you loved me...?"

"I did, Lisa, you're a good person, sweet, and you care about the others, you're too perfect that you don't deserve to be with me, there are a lot of people out there way better than me. Please, forget about me..." Jungkook begs.

"I won't, I will never forget you, Kook..." Lisa looks into the other's eyes, "I understand, but if that's what you want, I'll let you go."

She sniffled as she wiped away her tears, "Honestly, your future partner is going to be so lucky, I'm going to be extremely jealous of him."

Jungkook smiles, "Yea, I guess you're right."

"It's him, Taehyung right?" Jungkook nods.

"Aww, how cute!" Lisa giggled.

"Lisa, if possible, I hope we can still be friends." Jungkook said, he tries to comfort her, this is at least he can do.

Lisa nodded vigourously. "Sure! Bestest friends! Oh feel free to ask me for love and relationship advice-"

"Oh God...Lisa..."

"I'm kidding hehe. Anyway, it's getting late, I should go."

"Same. Thank you for understanding." Lisa smiles, bids him goodbye before she left.

"And now...how should I explain..." Jungkook talks to himself, letting a sigh.

God...I missed him already...
