Chapter 26

"Come in. Sit down, everyone," YN said, "Today we will be having a practical lesson, desks to the sides," Everyone moved the desks away and stood in a crowd,

"Professor?" Seamus looked concerned,

"Only call me Professor when other teachers are here.  Everyone get into partners and stand opposite each other," YN said, 

"What are we doing?" Harry whispered,

"You'll be fine," YN said, "Harry, go and stand over there," she pointed to the other side of the classroom. Everyone left a gap for them. YN summoned a crash mat, "Harry is my brother, so if I hurt him, it's fine," 

"Hurt me?" Harry raised his eyebrows,

"You'll be fine. So today, we will be doing the stunning spell, stupefy. With Voldemort gaining power, you need to learn to defend yourself. Mr Mafloy, care to share what you were saying?"

"What makes you qualified?" he asked, laughing with his friends,

"10 points from Slytherin for talking in my lesson, and you know why I am qualified. Anyway, everyone must speak clearly when performing the spell. Ready?" YN asked Harry,

"I guess,"

"Stupefy!" she pointed her wand at Harry and he fell back, unconscious. A couple of people gasped, "He'll wake up in a couple of minutes. So in your pairs, take it in turns to try this spell," YN put crash mats everywhere and Hermione walked over to Harry. People started practising,

"Stupefy!" Neville said Parvarti stayed standing,

"Neville, your wand should go straight down for the movement," YN said, Neville tried again, 

"I'm never gonna be good at this," he groaned,

"Shut up, Neville. I spent so long practising and failing. Just keep trying," YN said. She carried on walking around, "Good Hermione, amazing work. Draco, please at least try before I fail you in this lesson," YN said, 

"Sorry, Professor," he rolled his eyes, 

"10 points from Slytherin," she said, "Now, try the spell," 

"Stupefy," he said, not caring, Crabbe stayed standing,

"Crabbe, move. Malfoy, try the spell on me," YN said, 

"No," Draco said,

"Why?"

"Becuase you're a girl, and I don't hurt girls," Draco said,

"Coward," YN said,

"What?" 

"You heard me, Malfoy, COWARD!" YN repeated,

"Say that again, I dare you,"

"You should know not to dare a Gryffindor. You, Draco Malfoy, are a slimy, foul coward," YN saw that Draco was getting angry,

"Stupefy!" YN woke up with Hermione sat next to her,

"Very good, Malfoy," she stood up, 

"You did that on purpose?" he asked,

"I'd give you an A for Acceptable," YN went around the rest of the class, making notes on grades. At the end of the lesson, everyone collected a piece of paper from YN with their current grades on, 

"And T?" Pansy screeched,

"So, a foot-long essay on the stunning spell due Monday next week. If you want any extra help or want to learn anything to do with DADA not taught in the lessons, come and see me whenever," she dismissed everyone,
