***Ironhide's POV***
I couldn't believe that she was actually gone.
It had been precisely three hours since (Y/N) left, and my spark felt weaker with each passing second, as if the farther she got the weaker I became. I currently was in my alt mode up against the wall. There were no words to describe how I felt; I was just lost. I watched as the other Bots and some of the soldiers discussed what had occurred.
"I don't get it, why would she just leave." Sideswipe solemnly said. (Y/N) and him were incredibly close, so it made sense for him to be upset. They were like brother and sister, getting into trouble together wherever they went.
"Things don't always make sense. Maybe it's best if we don't find out why she did it and just go find her." Sam answered. William had called Samuel early this morning after he had awoken and we told him of what happened. Sam looked at her as a little sister.
"Sam's got a point. We're just wasting time, we gotta go find her!" Sideswipe pressed. Optimus held out a servo.
"Sideswipe please, remain calm. I know these things hurt and take time, but we will find her."
"No, you won't." I interrupted. I transformed, slamming my fist on the ground creating a crater. "When (Y/N) doesn't want to be found, she won't let it happen. She's gone, get over it."
"Why are you so negative Hide? You're quiet and then all of a sudden you speak up. What's going on you, ya' big hard ass?" Will asked me coming closer. I looked away. I couldn't look William in the eyes, or any of them for that matter. How was I supposed to tell them?
I had fallen in love with (Y/N). From the way she walked and her (H/C) hair swayed and billowed behind her. Her smile that brightens the room and laugh that is contagious and magical. She's the only one that has managed to break down my hard ass facade since Chromia, and that was millennia ago. She made me feel a way that I haven't in a long time: alive. And I pushed her away and broke her.
"Ironhide." Prime's voice boomed. I looked to my leader, my face sullen and grim. Prime had a way of reading all of us without speaking; I guess it was just a plus of being a Prime. His optics flickered in realization, but mine begged him not to say. He nodded in understanding.
"Prime?" Will questioned. Prime looked down at William.
"Colonel Lennox, I believe this goes without saying. (Y/N) made an impact in all of our lives. Some more than others. Regardless of that, we do need to find her, but let's not hasten ourselves. Give her time to think through things without us pressuring her, then when we find her, she may be ready to return." Prime's optics flickered between everyone.
"That sounds like a plan to me." Lennox said. "I don't know about anyone else."
"That works for me." I grunted before straightening. I stalked off, wanting to be alone. After finding an isolated corner somewhere I changed back into my alt-mode and turned on my holoform. After I appeared beside my alt form, I headed off toward's (Y/N)'s room. Opening her door, I walked in and went to the side of her bed that she typically slept on. Sitting down, I patted the mattress and pillow, her aura still present in the atmosphere. I wanted so badly to break down crying, but she wouldn't want me to do that.
What would she want me to do? I don't even kn
My spark ached, I didn't even know (Y/N) as well as I thought. My eyes dropped down and I saw the drawer on her nightstand cracked open. Sliding it open even further I reached in and withdrew a picture frame. I turned it over and nearly choked on the air.
It was a picture of (Y/N) and I, me in my full form. I was kneeling with an arm draped over my knee, the other servo held out, palm up, and (Y/N) was standing in it looking up at me smiling.
And I was smiling back.
I remembered the moment like it was yesterday. Her (E/C) eyes bright and gleaming, hair flowing in the gentle breeze. Her body completely relaxed and enticing. Yes I did have feelings for her, she was just astounding. A rule breaker, not scared of anything. There were times even when I threatened anyone who came near me and she didn't care, just walked right up to me and told me to calm down, though her words were a little bit more hellish than that. She was a dangerous woman, as the humans say.
I closed my eyes, squeezing them tight to try and prevent the fluid that wanted to escape. But that only pushed them more and before I knew it my eyes were leaking, though I felt no emotions. I was numb. I couldn't deny my feelings; I was in love with her. I needed her near me, beside me preferably. Just where I could see her and know that she was okay. If anything happened to her, I would never forgive myself.
I allowed myself to fall over on the bed, my head resting on the pillows.
And I prayed to Primus.
"Please, dear Primus, let (Y/N) be okay."
Then I fell asleep clutching the picture frame to my chest.
Meanwhile...
Arg! I dropped my head on the desk. Pain shot through my skull but I ignored it.
"You cheated!" I shot at Jasmine, who was laughing hysterically at me.
"Says who? Just because this is the fifth time your ass has been beat doesn't mean I'm cheating, hunny." She snickered. I lifted my head and cast her a glare.
"I demand a rematch." I snapped. She shook her head.
"Sorry dude, I gotta get to work. But you're welcome to play for me and beat yourself." She paused. I raised an eyebrow. "Okay that sounded wrong." She finished.
"Only if you say so, dude." I quoted her. She shot me a glare as she stood up but a smile tugged on the corner of her lip.
"Just don't wreck the place while I'm gone. Hey, and if you can, since you're going to be staying here for a bit, run and get groceries. There's money in the breadbox." She called over her shoulder as she walked out of the apartment. I shook my head but agreed as I cleaned up the game. I slid the box back beneath the coffee table and laid back in the couch.
Jasmine was a long-time friend of mine. After we graduated from high school we kinda lost touch, but we always remained close and there for each other as needed. She had a small apartment with two rooms, a kitchen, a full bathroom and a living room. I ran into her last night as I was leaving from the base, of course i d=had to ditch the jeep after I made it so far because it ran out of gas, plus I figured they could hack into any cameras and track the license plate. I made it several counties away from the base before I decided to ditch the jeep, and lucky me it had started to storm after I did as well. So I was cold and wet with no where to go. Jasmine was on the way back from a party and offered me a place to stay until I was ready to move on again. I didn't tell her the entire story, which I felt bad about, but she didn't need to know all the details.
I loved Jasmine to death, she was my greatest friend. After sitting on the couch for a few more moments I began to get ready to go to the store. I was the kind of person that did things as soon as I was told. I hated knowing that I had shit to do.
Putting my shoes on, I grabbed the car keys and the money and headed out the door, not knowing was was waiting.
