Carson : you're really pretty in person

Brooke : you too babe

Carson : i wish we were alone

Brooke : ugh me too

Carson : maybe we can sneak of later??

"Why don't you talk?" Hayden groaned, standing up from the couch and folding his arms over his chest. "You're literally sitting right next to eachother!"

"What's up his ass?" Eric gave Hayden a funny look, before draping a arm around Greg's shoulders and smiling aat him, "come on, new best friend."

"How did you two become best friends in like, fifteen minutes?" Hayden questioned.

"We both have mutual love for post Malone." Eric replied. Greg was grinning from ear, to ear, since most of his friends got annoyed when he mentioned Post Malone as he talked about him nearly everyday, Carson doesn't mnd too much as he's a posty fan, but only talking about him get's a bit too much.

"Ah." Hayden shook his head and carried on what he was doing.

Carson's phone buzzed from it's place on the coffee table and he quickly grabbed it, a smile forming on his face

Brooke : yes please

Then it buzzed again, and his smile quickly faded

Brooke : We need to talk

"I'm done," Hayden snatched their phones from their hands. " You two need to communicate-"

"We were communicating." Carson muttered.

"Not through text," Hayden sent him a glare, which made Carson shrink back into to his seat. Now go!"

"Go?" Brooke raised an eyebrows.

"Yes, go, as in go outside or upstairs and talk or go to the movies and makeout or upstairs and get it-"

"Okay, that's enough," Eric cleared his throat. "Let's not forget she's my little sister."

"Oh, right," Hayden nodded, then pulled Carson and Brooke up from the couch. He pushed them out the font the door, with a small smile on his face. "I'm doing this for your own good, you'll thank me later."

"Can i have my phone back?" Brooke asked, stretching her hand out to Hayden.

"No." he said shutting the door, then locking them out.

A long awkward silence filled the air. Which made Carson and Brooke extremely uncomfortable

This definitely wasn't how Carson hoped this trip would turn out.

"Uh, hi." Brooke tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, her eyes closed down to her feet.

"Hi," Carson bit his lip to keep him from smiling at how adorable she was. "Again."

"Can i talk to you now?" Brooke asked. She moved past Carson to take a sat on the porch swing, gesturing for him to take the spot next to her, "Wanna sit?"

"How bad is this going to be?" Carson scratched the back of his neck nervously as he sat down beside Brooke.

The feel of Carson's thigh brushed against her own, which made Brooke's heart skip a beat, and she had to mentally compose herself so she could get through what she wanted to tell him.

"Not bad, i just want to get a few things off my chest, i guess," she assured him, gently placing her fingers over his to stable his shaking hands. "It's not bad, Cars."

"Okay, hit me." he took her hand in both of his, setting his eyes on her.

She punched his arm lightly, a grin taking over her features, "okay."

"You know what i meant." He playfully glared before turning his body so that she knew she had his full attention.

"I changed my mind about us."

"Oh." Carson couldn't help the disappointment etched in his tone.

He was about to drop her hand, bu she gave him a reassuring squeeze, and went on, "I don't want u to be just friends."

"What are you-"

"I want to be yours, just like i want you want to be mine," she confessed, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink at her own words. "I want to be able to call you my boyfriend again and to hear you say you love me. I want ... I want so many things, Carson, so many things that i know you can't give me. I want you to be so many things that i know you can't be."

"Baby, i wold give you the whole world, all you'd have to do is ask," Carson said. "I'd be whoever you want me to be, if it meant making you happy."

"I want you to be someone who is always there for me."

"Brooke, i'll always be there for you, babe, what-"

"In person," Brooke took her hand away from his and wiped at her eyes, hoping no tears had slipped. "I want to wake up beside you, I want to you to kiss me at the most unexpected times, I want to cuddle with you on the couch while we watch old Friends re-runs, I want to yell at you and I want us to get mad at each other over the stupidest of things, I want us to make up, I want...I want you."

"Want, want, want," Carson mumbled, slightly annoyed, not only at himself for not being the guy Brooke deserves, but also at her for not even considering how he feels and what he wants. "You want this and you want that. Oh, sure princess, let me just drop everything and work on your problems."

"That's not what I meant, I-"

"That's what it sounded like," Carson interrupted, getting up and off the swing.

"If you had bothered to ask me what I wanted, you'd know that I want the same damn thing, Brooke."

"Then what do we do, huh?" Brooke asked, standing up as well, determination radiating off of her stance in front of
Carson.

"I dont know, I dont know what you want me to do, I want you to be here with me, she whispered, finally allowing a few tears to slip down her cheeks.

"Brooke, you cant just expect me to move in with you," Carson scoffed, quite in shock at what she was sort of proposing.

"I dont want you to move in with me! I just want you around."

"What does that mean if it doesn't mean moving here?"

"I dont know, she sighed, defeated. I just dont want to lose you, because I really love you, and because I kind of just got you back."

Carson opened his arms for her, seeing how fragile she looked, and let her walk into them. He wrapped his arms around her, tucking her head beneath his chin as her arms snaked around his waist, her face buried in his chest.

"You won't lose me, B," he said, leaning back slightly.

He placed a quick kiss on her lips, pulling away, so it didn't get too heated.

"Now that I know what your lips feel and taste like, I never want to stop kissing you," Brooke smiled, reaching up to trace his jaw with her fingers.

"We'll figure this out," Carson promised, before he pressed tiny kisses to each of her knuckles, then met her lips with his again.

A/N
Brooke was holding a grudge against him and she didn't know why. Maybe she was scared, maybe she didn't want to lose him.

As always Carson can't control his feelings neither can Brooke. They're meant to be
