"Brooke, i'm home!" A voice called downstairs. Carson shook Brooke gently, since she had fallen asleep halfway through The Fault In Our Stars, which he was thankful for, because taht meant he didn't have to suffer through the tragic ending. "Brooke?"

"Brooke, babe, i think someones here." Carson whispered, pushing her hair away from her eyes.

She groaned, opening one eye, and giving Carson a sleepy smile, "Hmmm."

"Someone's here." He aid, smiling back.

"Brooke, honey?" The voice called again, making Brooke shoot right from her bed.

"It's my mum," she urged Carson off the bed. "Come on, she can't find u like this. Go sit over there." She pointed to her desk chair, giving him  a slight shove.

"Brook?" Her mum pushed her bedroom door open. "You in here?"

"Uh, yeah." Brooke ran a hand through her hair and over her face, not wanting to seem like he had just been sleeping.

"Hey, why didn't you-" her mum stopped when her eyes landed on Carson. "Is this....?"

"Carson," Brooke finished fir her. "It's Carson. Eric told you and his friends were coming right?"

"yes, he did," Brooke's mum smiled. She stepped further into the room, and Carson extended his hand for her to shake. "No," she smiled, swatting his hand away lightly, instead pulling him into a hug. "I'm Claire, it i so nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too." Carson smiled. He raised an eyebrow at Brooke, who shrugged equally as confused.

"What were you two up to?" She question, pulling away from the hug.

"Just watching a movie." Brooke said, pointing to the TV.

"Okay, that's good, that's good," Claire smiled at the two. "Brooke, you don't mind if i borrow Carson for a bit, do you?"

"uh, no, why?"

"We just.... we need to have a little talk."

I feel terrible for not updating in year, but i'm ready to get back into it.
