Thankfully I don't need three coats today. The news has been covering the few different projects that Jasmine had funded. A few of them are covering how wrong Jerry and his followers were. If I had to guess I would think if Jerry spends any more time being this angry he's going to have health problems. He's not young and my dad has to take medicine for the amount of stress he's had over the years. Unless he was some kind of fitness nut when he was a teenager, there is no way this is good for Jerry's health. If he died the media would have a field day and I'm not so sure how good the snacks are from the dog mob. I wonder if Jerry will show up today.

When I get upstairs I see Trevon standing at the window. I don't think I've ever seen him come early even when I was interviewing. He has a serious look on his face. I wonder what's on his mind. I wonder if he and everyone else is thinking about this as hard as I am. Ellie seems to be ok though. She's been talking to everyone and comforting them from what I can tell. Maybe everyone got a little note like I did. She's nice. I put my stuff down and look at the welcome sheet. Right, I forgot the flowers again. I drove right by the shop coming down here. why do I not just stop? I like the cocoa from next door anyway.

I still got to fill out the welcome packet. What kind of plant do I want? I have a few minutes why not fill it out now. My chair is fine so I don't really need a new one. I don't have anything going on with my hands so I don't need a new keyboard and mouse. I like the apple stress ball. I think I like chocolate more than vanilla. I like sweets every once in a while. My birthday isn't until spring so there's no harm in filling that part out. I might get a cake and that would be nice. As long as it was something small I think I wouldn't mind as much. I don't think I want any of the books so I'll leave that whole page alone. What plant should I have? It's going to die anyway. I always liked those tiny cactus things. They look so cute. I might actually be able to keep it alive. Those things basically take care of themselves as long as you give them water every blue moon. And it would be easy to trash. The smell wouldn't bother me either. That's what I want, a tiny cactus.

I go through the rest of Jerry's side of the work ten minutes before the end of lunch. He had a lot less to do. I think Amy was trying to be nice by slowly giving him less work so he wouldn't get fired. I guess he caught on and decided that he really didn't like to be treated like a child. It's good leadership skills to adjust the workload if someone is not feeling up to it and not getting their stuff done. You really can't blame her. He probably felt old and like people were babying him. That's actually kind of sad. Not sad enough to sell company secrets for leather shoes. I will admit I'm being a little judgemental of Jerry but he yelled at me to cover up the fact he was a spy. I just don't like him. I can understand his sadness and pain but that doesn't mean I have to forgive him for it. No one likes to be yelled at. I don't really care all that much that he yelled at me. It just makes me mad he used me as his punching bag to get paid. I find the whole thing really unnecessary. He could have just left. It's not like he got the result he wanted anyway. The news is throwing him out as a credible source. His payday is over along with his fifteen minutes of fame.

I turned in my reports with a few minutes before quitting time. I walked over to Jason's office and dropped off my sheet into the little mail outside his door. The giant windows in his office made it so you can see inside. I think whoever designed the building really like the aesthetics of windows. He must have been meeting with one of the team leaders because he wasn't inside. His office was the ultimate motivational room. He had posters with 'inspiring' pictures. He had a zen garden and books by all of the major life coaches. He even has a mug with a motivational quote in cursive font making it hard to read from a distance. One thing that stuck out was the stack of small white square paper on his desk. He kept it in a kind of tiny inbox. He had a jar that he seemed to fill with small paper cranes. I've been in his office a few times and I don't think I've ever seen the stack get much smaller. I have seen the jar get full. I think he folds cranes to sell off the jars. I've seen a few of those kinds of things online. They're a cute housewarming gift for someone you don't really know what to get them when you're forced to go to that party with your best friend. They go for about 30 dollars a jar so it's not a bad business to have on the side if it doesn't cut into your work. I use to doodle when I worked at a call center. It kept my mind busy and me awake. Jason isn't a bad boss I just don't really get what he does. He makes announcement gives out assignments to the teams and has a direct connection to Jasmine but I don't understand what that has to do with accounting. Well, I guess you could say the job is different than accounting alone. I wonder what you would call my title if it was really broken down.
