Note : Sorry for the delay. I was busy with some stuff but here I am with new chapter.

Somewhere in the deep jungles of Pakistan….

The greyness of the evening surrounded the shoulders and the heads of the calm trees. It was so rare when the trees stay immobile in rainy season. The slowly started hiding behind the mountains that stood far beyond the eyes of anyone. The leaves of the trees chuckled a bit as they saw the sun setting down as if they preferred the darkness. The dark clouds started crowding over the head of the forest slowly and a lightning sparkled between two clouds on time to time. The sound of the thunder was loud enough to wake up a deaf person even in his deep sleep. The storm started blowing carrying the sound of the thunder. After the long period of summer the soil of the forest is going to bathe with the first drops of rain. The brown land awaited for to quench the drops and satisfy its thirst.

Inside this deep forest a camp having four buildings and few military trucks stood silently as if the people living inside were in deep sleep in the evening itself. But they were waiting for someone to wake up from his deep sleep. The one who is being asleep since the 10 years. The one whom they saved by risking their lives by entering into enemy’s land. They knew he could be their savior. They knew he is the one who can help them to succeed in their mission. The mission of getting back what they owned before the Partition.

A guy with a long dark beard stood on front of the furnace of a glass. His beard waved along with the wind that was entering in the chamber from a small window on the left wall. His brown eyes were fixed on a withered face that was inside the big furnace. There were other four guys who waited while standing calmly without making any noise as their boss ordered them no to speak.

The guy said in a deep tone, “The day has come. Today is the day he will wake up and guide us in this holy mission.”

“We are waiting here for all day. The sun is about to set and darkness is surrounding our camp.” A guy who was well dressed in his green uniform said in low tone as if he was whispering to himself.

“Darkness is what he prefer. I know him better than anyone because I am the one who have saved him and altered his personality using that furnace. He has a body but now a different soul, the one I want lives inside him.” The guy kept staring at him as if it was the only thing he wanted to do. The nameplate on his chest read ‘M. Gull’.

“I don’t think that furnace is of any use now. It has been abandoned by its creator when we weren’t even born.” M. Gull’s Commander said.

“But I renewed it. I repaired it. I wasted half of my life working on this machine. I don’t want any negativity filled in this room. Now leave us alone.” Gull gestured them to go out with his hands and the guys obeyed him as always. They were aware of the anger of their boss.

Gull looked at the door. Now he was accompanied by the silence and his so called savior. He turned his eyes towards the furnace in which a withered body stood. The furnace was filled with water. There were few pipes entering out of the furnace which was attached with the old man’s body. It was for transfusion. The guy needed blood. Even without moving a bit the guy quenched the blood of thousands of victims since 10 years.

The rain started falling satisfying the thirst of the dry land. The valley echoed with the loud sound of thunders.

Gull said with a drop of tear in his eyes, “Don’t betray me lord. I have waited for you enough.”

A lightning sparkled in the sky. The lightning travelled down the earth and Gull closed his eyes as he couldn’t stand its intensity. A gurgling sound filled the room and bubbles started rising inside the furnace. The machine vibrated and the glass started breaking. In a while the unbreakable glass of the furnace broke as the water flowed down along with the body inside it. The old man moved and slowly stood few feet away from Gull. Gull slowly opened his eyes and when he looked in front of him, he saw two dark black eyes staring back at him. A shiver ran down his spine as he looked into those eyes. He found only darkness into them.

Gull threw his body down on the ground as he sat in front of the old guy on his knees. He looked up back at the old Guy who was confused and was trying to figure out something, probably figuring out who he was. Gull bowed down and placed his head on the ground, “At last, Lord you have come!”

The man listened to the voice of Gull. He looked at his figure and said, “Yes. I have. But I feel tow lifes living inside me.”

Gull looked up, “You need rest for now and then only I will tell you everything. Until then you calm yourself down lord.”

“I will if you insist, son. You are my birthgiver. You gave me this body for my soul. And I owe you this life.”

“You owe me nothing, Master. Rest here and energize your body and your soul. Your land needs you more than anything.” Gull said as he arranged a bed for the old man.

The old man lay down on bed and lost himself in a deep sleep. Gull moved out after looking at his face and closed the door. His face contained a different kind of spark today.

Neel’s Apartment….

Neel finished his dinner and started cleaning the dishes as he heard a ringing of his phone. He kept cleaning and the phone rang again. He left his work in between and received the call.

“Don’t you want it, Mr. Neel? The most precious thing of your life.” He heard a voice from the phone.

“I am sorry. Something bad happened and we lost all the missiles in it. The production is ceased by the government. You will have to wait for a while.” Neel said in a tone which contained fear for the first time.

“But he is awake and we need it as soon as possible.” The guy barked.

Neel waited for a while as if the words stuck inside his throat. “He is awake?”

“Yes. He is.”

“Okay. I will see what I can do. I will try my best.”

“You better do that. I want my missiles until next week and only then you can have your precious gift.” The voice said and the line was cut.

Neel stood there lost in his own thought. He was afraid and happy at the same time. He was going to get to see it again. He never thought such opertunity will ever come in his life. Until now he lived with a lie carrying inside his heart but now he can tell the world the truth and he couldn’t wait any longer for it.

He called few of his officials and gave them guidlines about the production of the missiles. He had some underground production houses about which only few trustworthy people knew about.

Then he walked inside his bedroom and looked at his father’s image. He stared at the old guy for a while as a drop of tear rolled down his cheek. His lips shivered and the words came out of it, “I told you that I will prove them wrong. Each one of them. And now I have its proof. I know deep down my heart that you are innocent.”

Suddenly, the light inside his room flickered and he saw a dark eyes replacing his father’s calm eyes. He rubbed his own eyes and looked at the picture again. He saw no black eyes anymore. It was just some kind of illusion, he thought.
