Yeonjun sighed heavily before he started wiping the dirty table that the customers left for him to clean. Working at a restaurant was hard. A lot of patience was needed in order to fit Yeonjun's shoes. There were a lot of  customers that pissed him off. But he always manages to keep his cool.

But at least the restaurant was pretty. Its lights were dimmer, the walls were a dark brown color, and the decorations that were displayed everywhere gave it that romantic and cozy aesthetic and feel to it.

He combed his fluffy grey hair with his fingers while he walked back behind the counter to start preparing for closing. It was almost 11pm.

Just as he was about to walk to the glass panel doors to lock them. He checked around the almost empty place. Scanning every corner in search for a non-employee.

And there he spotted someone sitting at the table in the far corner of the restaurant. Yeonjun squinted, seeing the customer looking down on his phone.

It was when he looked up at the ceiling when Yeonjun noticed something about him.

The guy had watery eyes. He looked like he was about to cry.

Yeonjun forgot about what he was supposed to do and was knocked out of his thoughts when his co-worker nudged him on the elbow.

"What're you looking at?"

"Oh."

"This guy has been in here for the past 2 hours. I asked him if he was gonna order something but he kept saying he was waiting for somebody."

Yeonjun's stomach started twisting and turning. He frowned.

The poor guy just got stood up.

"I'm gonna go talk to him."

Yeonjun shyly walked towards the boy. Making sure he tiptoed as silently as he could so that the boy wouldn't notice him.

He made his way beside the brown haired boy and cleared his throat.

"We... uhm... we're about to close... sir."

The stranger looked up, and above him stood Yeonjun.

He sniffled. And proceeded to stand up.

"Oh. Sorry about that. Let me just take my things and I'll leave."

Yeonjun bit his lips as he watched the boy push the chair back under the table before he walked away.

Before he even turned around. Yeonjun said something that made the other stop on his tracks.

"Sorry you got stood up."

The grey haired boy mentally punched himself in the face. Making sure to look down, attempting to hide his cringing face.

"What?"

"How did you know?"

Yeonjun was afraid he was gonna get beat up. The guy looked pissed.

Yeonjun peeked at the taller one, his eyes were glistening. But his whole demeanor was upset.

The brown haired boy turned around  once more and started walking away.

"Hey!"

Yeonjun chased after him. Who was now outside the door.

"What do you want?"

"Its just... Uhm... I really am sorry you got stood up."

"What kind if person would do that to you? Must've been blind. I mean... I wouldn't do that to someone that's as good looking as you-"

Yeonjun slapped his palm against his lips.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to say that."

Yeonjun kept trying to save himself from the awkward atmosphere that he made. Stuttering and stumbling on every word he attempted to push past his lips.

"Of course I would get stood up. It's no surprise to someone that's unattractive and boring."

Yeonjun looked up at the taller.

"I don't think you're unattractive."

"What's your name? I'm Yeonjun. Choi Yeonjun."

"Choi Soobin." He said in monotone.

"Okay, Soobin. I have an idea."

"How 'bout I take you on a date just to prove that you're attractive?"

"I mean, I wouldn't ask you out if I wasn't interested." Yeonjun smirked.

-5 years-

"Ew. I can't believe I said that." Yeonjun cringed as he buried his face in Soobin's chest. Inhaling his scent that he's always knew and loved.

Both were laying down. Arms and legs snaked around each other's body as they giggled. They had just moved in and just finished furnishing the house.

Except for their bed. Which was unfortunately from IKEA. And had about a million pieces to put together.

Thus, explaining the fact that they're on an air mattress. Under a table cloth as their blankets.

"I was the one who asked you out. But you ended up taking me wherever you wanted for the rest of that night."

Soobin giggled before he kissed the older's forehead and looked up at the newly painted beige ceiling as he sighed. His hand still holding the other's.

"I'm so happy I married the shit out of you."
