The beginning of a friendship

Tom and Zendaya were both 17 years old and still best friend or you could also say soulmates. Like they have been for the last time 15 years. They got to know each other when they were 3 years old

Tom and his parents just moved to Oakland America from London because Tom's dad found a job here. They bought a beautiful little house with a big garden and Tom's mom was pregnant with twins (Harry and Sam) he was so exited to finally become a big brother. Today they were hosting a barbecue to get to know they neighbors " the Coleman's" They also had a little daughter Zendaya who they wanted to introduce to Tom, hoping they would get along and eventually become friends. Zendaya's mom Claire just got her ready she wore this cute little pink dress with her ballerinas. "Mommy I don't wanna go there i wanna play with Deja"(Zendaya's bestie) "I know baby girl but they have a son who is also 3 years old and would love to meet you maybe you can even become friends" Claire told her daughter "But mommy I already have my friends Deja, Chelsea and Maria I don't need anymore friends " the little girl told her mom" Zendaya you can never have enough friends and I'm sure you'll like him you know he's from London and just moved here and all his friends are back in London and he doesn't have any friends yet so he's really sad about that and you could make him happy again with being his friend would you try to that for me sweetie " Claire tried to convince her daughter. " Okay mommy I'm gonna give it a try but now we have to wake up daddy so we're not gonna be late". "Yeah you're right sweetie let's wake up daddy "

20 minutes later
Zendaya and her parents just arrived at the house of the Holland's and went on saying hello to Tom's parents. Claire saw Tom playing in the sandpit backing a "cake". "Hey sweetie look there's Tom why don't you go play with him" Claire said "Okay mommy" Zendaya walked over to the sandpit and sat next to the boy in the sand. " What are you doing" asked the curious girl. The boy looked at her with wide eyes you could see that he was clearly shocked having a girl he didn't even know sitting next to him. "I'm baking a cake " the boy answered a little shy "Cool can I also bake one did you know that one time I baked hundred cakes all on my own" the little girl acclaimed excited "Really maybe we can bake even more ". And sooner or later the whole garden was full of sand cakes the two toddlers giggled exited when they saw all of them. Even though there parents weren't that happy about the sand mess. They also played catching and hiding and after that they had to come eat where they sat next to each other giggling the whole time because of the weird faces they made. There parents already knew that these two were gonna be besties. Two hours later Zendaya and her parents had to leave and Tom and Zendaya didn't like that. "Mommy can't we stay a little bit longer me and Tom want to build a treehouse" the little girl hopefully asked. "No Daya we really have to leave but you can meet Tom tomorrow again, okay" Claire said. "Okay mommy" Zendaya ran to Tom and hugged him "Bye Tom I'll see you tomorrow " Zendaya told Tom "Bye Daya " a very sad Tom told Zendaya. After that they left but neither of them tried to hide their excitement for the next day. Both of their parents knew that this would be the start of a great and long friendship. And they weren't wrong 15 years later they were still an amazing dream team and thought they were gonna be live time besties. Little did they know what was about to happen.
