Hard times

It's been one month since Zendaya's and Trevors Date and it's also been one month since they started dating. Zendaya couldn't be more happy, Trevor was just so sweet and caring. They've been spending a lot of time together going on dates and just laying in bed cuddling and watching a movie.

To Zendaya all this dating thing was really new, because believe it or not, but Trevor was her first boyfriend. Mostly because she was really shy and her dad had this no dating until you're 16 policy. So everything was really exciting to her, but she was happy that she got to experience all of this relationship stuff with Trevor.

But there was one thing bothering her, which was Tom. After she came back from her date she immediately called Tom and told him everything from the popcorn fight to the kiss. But instead of sounding happy for her he sounded really uninterested and almost annoyed.

First she thought he was just a little mad, because she watched the new Iron man movie without him. But she apologized multiple times and Tom is really not the person to hold grudges against you.

So when he was still really distant, even after a month she knew it couldn't be that. If he was gonna keep acting like this she eventually had to ask him what was wrong. Even though she had her suspicions why Tom was acting like this.

She knew he didn't really like Trevor for whatever reason, but it disappointed her a little that he wasn't even trying to make an effort to get along with him.

Okay maybe she was also a little bit to blaim, she did in fact spend a lot of time with Trevor recently. She should really make a bigger effort to hang out more with Tom, she actually felt kinda guilty.

I'm fact she also noticed that he's been looking kinda sad lately. He just wasn't as bubbly and energetic. But maybe it was because of Trevor, oh god she really was a terrible best friend. She definitely had to talk to him tomorrow and maybe, she could invite him to this rugby game, that was taking place after school.

It was actually supposed to be a date with Trevor, but she really missed Tom and maybe this would also help Tom and Trevor getting along better. They always seemed kinda tense around each other.

(Toms POV)

This past month has been really hard on Tom, not only did he have to watch the girl he loved, being in someone else's arms and then that person being Trevor, from all the people she could have dated.

And he tried to be happy for her and start to somehow like the guy, but he just couldn't. Trevor was just such an asswhole, it felt like he knew he that he liked Zendaya a little to much. And just always tried to shove it in his face, that he couldn't have her and that Zendaya was Trevor's. He was always being extra touchy and flirty with Zendaya in front of Tom, that it made him wanna gag.

But that wasn't even the worst thing, his grandad has been really sick lately. Apparently it's stage three lung cancer, which at this point is untreatable. So that meant, that sooner or later his grandad was going to die. And Tom was absolutely not ready for it, he loved his grandad so much and didn't want him to be gone.

Oh and he couldn't even talk about it with Zendaya, because she was always busy hanging out with Trevor. And yeah Tom could understand that they wanted to spend time together, but what about him. Weren't they best friend and therefore supposed to be there for each other?

But right now it seemed like Zendaya had different plans, even when they hung out, which they did two times in the past month, usually you could always find one of them lying in the others bed. She would always talk about Trevor. Trevor is so cute or did I tell you that he got me flowers the other day, Trevor this, Trevor that blah blah blah.
