One. Take a shower. You don't want to smell.

Two. Pick out an outfit that will fit with the latest trend and won't make you the laughing stock of the school more than you already are.

Three. Put on some makeup so you can actually show your face in public and be a little bit pretty. You can't even recognise yourself and your face tingles with an unbelievable issue you can't satisfy, otherwise you'll have ruined the hours of meticulous painting you apply to your hideous face.

Four. Don't forget to style your hair in elegant curls. You can't let everyone at school see how your hair frizzes up like an electrocuted monkey, naturally.

Five. Shove your fat feet into the toe pinching, blood blistering converse shoes that everyone else at school is wearing. Your cannot be the odd one out.

Every morning, as you look at your own reflection in the mirror, you see a different girl. A different boy. And you realise. You realise how ugly you look.

You go to school and you stay with the popular kids just so people would like you. But you know no one does. The girls you hang around with makes fun of you and you know it. But you need to stay with them so people will like you and not mock you. You are scared of getting grade A's and scared that people will judge you for being smart, a teacher's pet, a nerd.

You go home. Tired. You have dinner. You go get ready for bed and you look in the mirror. You say "Am I fat?" and you believe it. You go and have a shower and feel the warm water that runs down your body. The only warmth you have ever felt. Then you wash and wipe your mask off, letting your true self look at you in disgust.

And you question. "Am I good enough?"

No. You're not.

Your not good enough because you put yourself down. You don't see the light that shines in you, letting your heart beat. Instead, you let darkness cage it and let it reap. You don't be proud of who you are. Instead, you want to be masked and 'fake' to go far. You don't realise how intelligent you are and how you will have a good future and life. Instead, you stab yourself in your mind, corrupting knowledge and power, by using a hurtful worded knife.

Listen. You are smart, you are proud of yourself, you are going to have a good life and you are going to be confident and not put yourself down.

You are strong. Stronger than anyone. You have the power to change you.

Don't let society mould you.
Let you mould society.

You are good enough.
