I was sitting on the kitchen counter having breakfast like usual when my phone vibrated, it was a text from Christ. I felt my stomach sink and a smile grow on my face. Let's face it, I was really into this guy and we've been texting nonstop since the dinner two weeks ago.

From Chris:
Good morning sweetie, ready for today? :)

To Chris:
Can't wait! :)

Okay so somewhere along these to weeks he picked up the habit of calling me sweetie, which I absolutely loved. I loved the way we actually hit it off. There were no awkward first conversation, we just started texting as if we had known each other for years.

With all this talking I learned a lot about Chris. We both have the same taste in music but don't listen to the same bands. Well, I listen to his but he says he doesn't like mine. He loved horror movies and I hate them. I'm just to much of a scardy cat to watch them, but he said I had to watch his favorite movie with and that there was nothing to worry about 'cause he would be there to hold me.

Apart from the traditional favorite everything you learn when you star talking to someone. He also told me he lived with his mother, younger and aunt. And that his bad cheated on his mother with some bimbo and left. I felt horrible when he told me, I told him that I wished I could hug him but since we were texting that would be a bit impossible so I promised I would next time I saw him.

And that next time would be today. Today was Jenny's 19th birthday party. She was picking everyone up and we would hang out at her house for the day. I was more excited about seeing Chris and the gang that nervous about walking around in a bikini. Unfortunately Kristen was going, no matter how much I begged her she couldn't convince her parents to let her stay, so she was dragged to a weekend away with the family.

I finish my breakfast and head up to my room to get ready. Since my parents weren't home I connect my IPod to the speakers and put it on shuffle. Daft Punk - Lose Yourself To Dance came on and I started to smile, it was his favorite song. I take a quick show to freshen up, then lather myself in sun lotion, the last thing I need is a sun burn. I pick out my cutest bikini, put on a pair of shorts and dance my way to drawers to pick a shirt to wear; I normally would do that, but I was just in too good of a mood not to. When I was done, I put my towel in my bad and went to sit on the couch where I waited patiently.

Around 10:30 a.m Jenny called. "Hey Alice! We're right outside, you ready?", " Yeah, I'll be right out". I got my bad, my heart was pumping as if I had just ran the 100 meter sprint. I took a deep breath before opening the door. This would be the first time I was saw Chris in two weeks and even though we talked at least four hours every day I was super nervous to see him.

I stepped outside and park next to the side walk was Jenny's car, even though she had her driver's licence she had a driver today. Steve was sitting next to left side window and Chris was the middle, which meant I had to sit next t him. "Yay"  I thought and I could imagine my heart dancing around and throwing confetti in the air. As soon as I got in the car and greeted everyone Chris said:

"What are you so smiley about?", I didn't realize I was smiling because of my though but I wasn't about to admit that I was euphoric because I was sitting next to him. "Just happy to see you all" I said as I smiled to everyone. The driver started the car and we were on our way. I gave Jenny her birthday present, a tank top that she loved.

After a while I found myself doing what I always do when I'm in a car: Looking out the window, drifting in a sea of thoughts and amazement for mother nature.
