"I'm coming... ", Helen opened the door.

"Hi?"

"Hi?... Well c'mon in"

Kyle got inside and took a seat.

"Hey baby," Kaira gave him a tender kiss, "sorry I'm almost done. Give me three minutes to style my hair"

"Sure, take your time"

"Thank you", Kaira sat facing the mirror with an earpiece stuck in both ears.

"So where are you taking her? And when are you returning her?"

"Lol, we're heading for Stanel eatery and I'll bring her back by 5pm.... Hope that's okay?"

"For a first time date, it is. So tell me, what got you so interested in my best friend?"

"Urrhhmm... I like her"

"Did you say 'like'?"

"Lol, I do have feelings for her and I find her interesting too. I mean the fact we share a lot in common and I still have a lot to know about her"

"I hope your intentions are genuine because if you hurt her, you will have me to contend with"

"Lol, I'm aware, ma'am. She's told me so much about you and I dare not mess up"

"Good... Hope you don't mind if I ask about your past relationship... That's if you've been in any? "

"Yeah I have been in relationships... "

"No... I just applied a lip gloss, hope you don't mind doing it later on "

The two lovebirds stood by the roadside waiting for a cab when Steph met them.

"My my, Kaira you're looking sweet"

"Thank you, darling. Meet Kyle, my boyfriend. Kyle, meet Steph, my course mate, friend and neighbor".

"Hi... ", Steph paused for a while, "... I've heard so much about you and... I'll admit you're worth the description "

"I'm flattered, thank you....?" He offered a handshake.

"Steph", she accepted the handshake.

"Oh, yeah, Steph"

"Well, I'll get going now. You guys should have fun"

"So, tell me, how did it go?", Helen asked the exhausted Kaira.

"Ohh, it went fine. I enjoyed my day... But I'm so tired to go through details... "

"Ahh, don't try it. You better start talking"

There was a knock at the door.

"Oh, I'm right on time. So tell us how did it go? ", Steph took a pillow and sat on the bed.

"You girls! Oh no... I'm tired oh"

"Ahh, start talking oh", Steph and Helen said in Unison.

"Okay, fine. We went to Stanel eatery and ate to our fill"

"Ate what?", Helen asked

"Coconut rice and salad with chilled chivita drink. After which, we took some memorable pictures and then we headed to his Lodge"

"Interesting", Steph adjusted herself

"His room is well furnished; I stood agape at the luxury of his room. He's from a rich family"

"Wow! What's the name of his Lodge? ", Helen asked.

"El-Spencer's Lodge, Room 105...."

"Omg! Girl that's the most expensive Lodge in school, you know that?", Steph cuts in.

"Yeah... He told me about his family. They were once poor but after the marriage of his elder sister to some American man, their lives changed for good. His father is now a renowned Chief and prominent businessman. He said something about 'Mac enterprises Ltd', that's a company owned by his father. The mother is helping the sister wean her child as she's just put to bed last week, meaning the mother is in the UNITED STATES.... "

"Girl, you've hit jackpot!! ", Helen praised Kaira.

"Wow, you're so lucky", Steph said.

"Lol, he told me he'd be spending the holidays in Dubai and he'd like if I tag along"

"OMG! You're going, right? ", Steph asked.

"No, I'm scared"

"Of what exactly?", Steph asked

"Traveling to Dubai with some guy I just met..."

"Your boyfriend you mean? ", Steph cuts in

"He said he'd seek my parents' permission if I want"

"You're letting him, right? ", Helen asked

"I'll have to think about it "

"Okay, whatever you say, Princess ", Steph bluffed

"Steph, that's your goodie bag over there. I'm so tired and need some sleep "

"Thanks baby"

"You better freshen up before sleeping", Helen chips in

"Ohhh, please!! "
