I wake up to Jasmine jumping on our bed
“Mom, Dad, Wake up” Jasmine yells jumping on the bed
I lay in bed for a bit longer. Hayes comes into my room with a cup of coffee
“Good morning boo” Hayes says
“Morning” I say
I get out of bed, take my coffee, I kiss Hayes. We go into the living room. I sit on the couch and Hayes makes breakfast. We hear a knock on the door
“I got it” I yell
I open the door
“Tristan and Sam” I say
“Uncle Tristan and Aunty Sam” Jasmine yells
They come inside. We eat breakfast and then we help Tristan and Sam move in. they get settled in their rooms
“Amber take Jasmine upstairs to change and take her by the pool well I talk to Tristan and Sam and I will be out there in a bit” Hayes says
I take Jasmine upstairs, we change and we go outside and hang by the pool. I text my dad
To Dad: do you want to come over now and hang out with me and Jasmine?
He texts me back
From Dad: be there soon
I get into the pool with Jasmine. Then my dad comes through the doors
“Grandpa” Jasmine yells getting out of the pool
“Jasmine” My dad yells
Jasmine goes into the pool. My dad and I sit by the pool and talk. Then the doors open. Hayes walks through the doors
“Hello Ray” Hayes says
“Hello Hayes” my dad says
Hayes goes into the pool with Jasmine. They get out of the pool. My dad leaves and we go inside
“Amber go and change into a nice dress I want to take you on a date. Tristan and Sam are going to watch Jasmine for us” Hayes says
I go upstairs and change into my dress; I put on some make-up and straighten my hair. I go downstairs and Sam and Tristan and Jasmin aren’t in the house
“Where are Sam, Tristan and Jasmine” I ask
“UMM they went to the store to get some candy and stuff” Hayes says
We leave the house and we get into Hayes truck and we get to this private beach. We get out and we sit on a ledge by the sand and we talk and laugh. Then Hayes covers my eyes with his hands and then he helps me walk somewhere. He tells me to close my eyes and he takes his hands off my eyes and I keep my eyes closed
“OK, open then” he says
I open my eyes to see Jasmine, Sam, Tristan and Hayes standing in front of me. Hayes kneels on one knee and I start to cry
“Amber you have been the love of my life for many years; we have a beautiful child together, and I can’t imagine a life without you, Amber Valdez will you marry me and change your last name and our child’s last name to Grier and make me the happiest guy in the world” Hayes says showing me a beautiful diamond ring
