'Yo
After the clapping had finally stopped, the sun had set for the day,and everyone had returned to their dorms.'The sunset really is beautiful, huh,Jakey?' Ricky asked his twin brother, admiring the perfect view from the dorm window for a few seconds before he had to look away to avoid burning his eyes out.Jacob said nothing in response.'I can't believe our time here is nearly over.' Daniel said, reminiscing his time at the camp, like that time he plummeted to his death (almost) down an apparently safe waterfall,or the time he pushed Craig in the river,or the time he stepped on his younger brother. In all honesty,he hadn't done a lot.Same goes for Jacob, all he did was go on his phone and show signs of being a minor antagonist.Ricky also did nothing.Just forget those three,Cody is the only one who matters.JUST CODY-no we're not doing that.'Oh god,i'm honestly dreading going back to my parents' Tom sighed begrudgingly.'Why?' Craig asked, concerned.'Oh,it's nothing.' Tom brushed it off.'How was your day,Craig?' He changed the subject.'No,Tom,stop it.Are you oka-' 'WELL I'M GOING TO SLEEP GOODNIGHT.' Tom said, yeeting himself into his bed, pulling the covers over himself.'Well,Goodnight then.' Craig said awkwardly, sliding into his bed reluctantly. He looked at the peeling grey wallpaper of the cabin nostalgically. He would miss this place. The only bad thing was the fact he had to share a bunk with that filthy gremlin Jacob.Ricky had already closed the rooms's curtains like a good human being since everyone was going to sleep.'What are y'all doing?' Daniel asked them.'We're going to bed?' Craig replied.'But why? Tonight's our last night here at Camp McSucksAlot,we might as well make the most of it.' He looked over at his other three brothers.'Cody,Ricky,Jacob, you're all good runners, you can go gather everyone, tell them to meet at the forest entrance in fifteen minutes sharp, tonight is going to be the best night of their lives.'
'Why did you call us here, exactly?' Courtney questioned.'We're going to hang out together for the very last time.' Daniel Explained.'But most of us live in the same neighbourhood.' Claire pointed out.'We will most likely see each other again, especially when school starts up.' She added.'You're missing the point.' Daniel growled.'We're hanging out for the last time at this camp.' Everyone nodded in approval.'Well, what are we supposed to do then?' Jessica spoke up.Daniel stared into nothing, realising he didn't think about that part of his plan.'I don't know, socialize or something.' He said.'But first,we should probably get a campfire going.' Terry raised his hand, his brown eyes sparkling.'Yes,Terry?' Daniel replied politely.'I know how to do that!' He was one of the kids trying to cause anarchy down at the river, after all.'Okay, how do we do that then?' Daniel said.Terry unexpectedly pulled a lighter out of his pocket.'Why... do you have that?' Cody asked, trembling with fear.Terry giggled childishly.'Arson.' He replied blankly, smiling. He threw some sticks onto the ground before setting the pile alight and slipping the lighter back in his pocket.'Done!' He said, sitting down on the grass, everyone else copied him in the act of sitting down.Eventually everyone looked up at the sky,the bright stars contrasting against the dark backdrop.Eventually, everyone's attention averted to Tom,who had since fallen asleep on Craig, who was holding him close.'Lol.' Jacob said, taking yet another picture for his social medias.'What a truly emotionally gripping caption.' Ricky noted sarcastically, reading the glorious inscription Jacob had put under the post.It read as following: gey.'Since when did you get interesting?' Jacob asked his brother, actually smiling at him, noting the sarcasm in his tone.'I'm just expressing what i learned from you.' Ricky admitted.Jacob's eyes glowed with pride before pulling his twin into a sincere hug.Daniel looked over at them,a single tear rolling down his cheek.'They're finally getting along!' He cried happily.'This night was successful after all!' Daniel smiled, looking around, almost everyone was asleep.Everyone, except for Cassidy, who still looked intrigued by the beauty of the full moon. Her caramel brown hair gently flowing in the breeze, her baby blue eyes reflecting the stars themselves. She truly was beautiful.Daniel smiled again. This really was the best night of his life.
