How We Met! S.M

Chapter 1

My name is Olivia Webb, I'm 19 and you might have either heard of me or seen me all over social media well that's because I'm one of Selena Gomez's best friends and I'm always hanging out with her lately. I've been in her snapchats for a while and on her Instagram posts too.

I am also really good friends with most of the MCU cast such as: RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and ect. I love them all so much Selena is like a sister to me, and the MCU cast cast have become part of my family. Selena has really helped you through the darkest of times, when I felt like I had no one I had her, she was always there for me.

Now how we met is a different story for a
different time. I've been struggling for a while with depression but Selena was always there to help and she even recommended a really good rehab institute to help me get my mental health back to a healthy place, and that really helped me.

I've been feeling really down lately and Selena thought it would be good to get me out of the house so she asked me to be her plus one to the Met Gala this year and I'm so excited to go.

Olivia's POV

It's finally the day of the Met Gala and Selena has been kind enough to buy my dress and shoes a week ago, it's a burgundy off the shoulder sleeved beaded and satin ball gown dress, it's so beautiful and it makes me feel like a princess, and the shoes are black velvet looking stilettoes with a strap.

She has also been kind enough to let me also use her make-up artist Hung Vanngo, and her hair stylist Tim Duenas. Hung does my make-up and I'm blown away by how beautiful he has made me look.

He went with a dark red blended into the crease, some red glitter on the lid, and some  false lashes.

Tim does my hair in a half up/half down look with curls and twisted around the mid-section of my hair and I think it looks spectacular.

It's now time to put my dress and shoes on,
so, I go into the room where my dress is and take my previous clothes off and put my dress on, I do a little twirl in the dress because I'm so excited for tonight, you thought "I wonder what it's going to look like, also what is the atmosphere going to be like, I guess I'll find out soon enough." 

I put my shoes on and walk out of the room to where Selena is so we can leave. We walk outside and get in the car and head to the Met, we're all chatting in the car and about twenty or so minutes pass and we come to a stop where we're supposed to get out for the Met.

We exit the car and walk to the entrance and immediately there are screams and bright flashes going off, Selena leads me to keep walking. We walk a little bit on the carpet before Selena stops and looks inventively in front her and spots Shawn Mendes a person or two ahead of us and points in his direction a little bit to get you to take notice.

She asks you if you want to meet him, you say "Yes Please." She calls out his name to get his attention and you both walk over to him and she introduces you to him. You trip over your dress a little and he catches/stables you while giggling.

"I guess you can't help falling for me huh?" He says to you jokingly.You laugh at what he joke/pickup line. "Yeah I guess so, sorry I didn't mean to trip on you." You say while blushing red.

He's still holding you steady and says, "It's alright it happens no need to be embarrassed about it," and as you're holding onto him after almost falling you notice you're both wearing the same color.

"oh wow look we're wearing the same color, personally I think it suit you better if I'm being honest." You say nervously.

He laughs and says, "I beg to differ you look beautiful in Burgundy, it really is your color."

"Why thank you, that means a lot coming from you, anyways we don't want to keep you too long, it was truly wonderful meeting you thank you for catching me and being so kind." You say smiling slightly.

"You're welcome, and it was absolutely amazing meeting you too any friend of Selena's is a friend of mine, I hope we'll run into each other again soon." He says while giving you a hug and kissing you on the cheek innocently.

You think "ugh there he goes with the word "soon" again" "Yes hopefully we will, have a wonderful rest of your night Shawn." You say to him. "You too Olivia." He replies and walks away to find his friends who are there with him.

I turn to Selena and ask her "Did that really just happen? Did I kind of flirt with Shawn Mendes? Oh my god wow he was so sweet and such a gentleman." So, me and Selena keep walking and her name is constantly called out by people who want her to look at their cameras for a photo, so we pose for a couple photos and then walk a little bit and take a few more photos.

This happens until we reach a set of stairs, even walking up the stairs we stopped like two times for more photos and then we keep walking. Selena gets pulled aside for an interview so I stand to the side and wait patiently for her to finish so we can walk in the museum together and continue with the rest of our night and end up back at her place once the night is over for us.

I was kinda restless that night because I kept thinking about his lips on my cheek and just how nice he really was and how down to earth he really was, because these days a lot of people write him off because he's a celebrity, but he really is a genuinely good guy.
