How We Met! S.M

Chapter 3

Olivia's POV

Your heart has started to slow down to a normal rate from a very fast heart rate before because you were happy and super nervous at the same time. Shawn is sitting in the chair across from you at the table you've been sitting at since after you met Camila.

"So, can I ask you for your number now that I've actually asked you out?" Shawn asks.

"Oh yeah, here take my phone and put your number and I'll do the same." You say to him, he exchanges phones with you and put the numbers in each other's phones.

"Now that you have my number you can send me the details of the date and when it'll be happening, and I'll send you my address so you can pick me up, how does that sound?" You ask him,

"Yeah that sounds really nice." He says smiling big at you, with those chocolate brown eyes that you have adored for years and now you can actually see how beautiful they are in person instead through a screen.

It's about 11:30PM now and you hadn't realized how long you'd actually been at the after party for, you start to think "It's getting a little late maybe I should start heading home."

He stands up and walks over to your side of the table and sticks his hand out towards you to help you up. You take his hand, stand up and he says to you,

"Well it's getting a little late and I should probably get you home now don't you think?" Shawn asks, you smile and say

"Yeah I was just thinking the same thing, and thank you again for accompanying me tonight it was wonderful and I'm really looking forward to our date." You both start walking to the exit of the building and find your car and get in it.

You and Shawn have been talking the whole car ride home, it's been about twenty minutes, and you arrive outside your apartment building. You get out of the vehicle and Shawn follows after telling the driver to wait for him.

"Well I guess this is my stop, thank you again for making this night better than I ever thought it would be."

"You're very welcome I'm glad you had a great night, I did too it was so wonderful seeing you again, I'll text you soon and give you more information about our date, but until then have a nice rest of your night." Shawn says hugging you and walking back to the car and driving off.

You get up to your apartment and immediately call Selena, she picks up and you tell her everything that happened from start to finish and you both gush about your date and what you're going to pull together for an outfit. After the phone call you go to your bathroom, take your make up off, let your hair down, take off your shoes, and grab a towel.

You walk into your closet towel in hand, and take your dress off and hang it back up, you open the towel and wrap it around yourself. You make your way back into the bathroom and start running the water for a shower. You take a shower and once you're done you get out and put you pajamas on and go to bed.

You woke up to a beautiful sunny day in New York with a beautiful view of the city. It's now about 1:00PM in the day and you're a watching a marvel movie that you've seen about one hundred times. You get a text from non other than Shawn Mendes

Messages:

Shawn Mendes🍁: Hey Olivia I hope you don't mind me texting you so late, I've been very busy lately and I've just now gotten a free day if you'd like to have that date today?

Olivia🌹: Today is perfect! just let me know what time you want to go out and I'll send you my address so you can pick me up!

Shawn Mendes🍁: How does 7:00PM sound to you? Wear sometimes kinda casual/formal but not too formal, we'll be going to a nice Italian restaurant.
