Chapter 11

A/N This takes place 10 years later than the night she was in the laboratory. Sara is now 17 years old(a few months younger than Zero and Ichiru though)

Her mismatching eyes stared into Kaname's dark brown ones.

"Who-...Who are you?"

Kaname walked slowly towards her. He looked at her adoringly. He knew she locked up her memories.

"I am your lover."

Sara was taken back with his answer. She knows nothing of this man, however she felt strangely safe around this man. An unfamiliar bond formed inside of her, it was as if a red string tied herself to this man. The man wrapped his tender arms around her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. A protective aura landed on her that made her want to stay in this man's arms forever. She shifted closer towards the man, allowing his love devour her.

"Remember I will always be by your side."

She moved slightly away from the man to look at his warming eyes again. They engrossed themselves into their little world as Kaname leans closer towards her to place his lips on hers. Sara closed her eyes and returned his kiss. It seems like forever before the man removed his lips.

"Come on. I want you to meet someone."

She nodded and slides her legs off the bed. Her hair cascades down her shoulders as she tries to get her feet on the floor to stand up. Her white dress landed an inch above her knee. She slowly lifted herself off the bed but soon lost her balance and was caught by Kaname.

"I'll help you."

He tuck his arm against her under her legs and carries her towards the door.

The hallway towards the top was dark, though she was able to adjust her eyesight in the dark faster than most vampires.

"What is your name? Who am I?"

He pushed another door open revealing a piercing light, forcing her to close her eyes. She looked around her and saw many books arranged in colours.

"My name is Kaname. Your's is Sara."

They continued to walk out and into a massive garden.

"Where are we?"

"You are now in the grounds of Cross Academy and the person you are going to see is the Headmaster, Kurosu(Cross) Kaine."

The sun begins to rise suggesting it was dawn. She continued to look around the atmosphere. The building they walked out of looked like a castle and is surrounded by massive walls. They walked towards another similar building.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Coming!"

The door was opened by a man with straw-blonde hair. The man greeted them with a smile before turning serious.

"Is this her?"

"Yes. She has just woken up."

"Please. Come in. We'll talk in my office."

Kaname sat down on the couch, allowing Sara to sit on his lap. He enclosed his arms around her waist. She stared at the blonde hair man as he sat down across from them, behind his desk.

"Hi Sara. I am Kurosu Kaine, the Headmaster of Cross Academy. An academy with both humans and vampires such as yourself."

I'm a vampire?

"There is two classes which separates the two species. The Day Class for the humans and the Night Class for the vampires. You will be attending the Night Class shortly."
