The Fabulous New Chick

Chapter One

Janay's P.O.V

Today's the day where I go to my new school, Dale Valley High. I just moved here like 2 weeks ago because my mom got a better job offer. I look in my wardrobe, and pick out my school outfit. I had a a sweater with a bunch of math on it, my black bootcut pants, and my red vans. I put on my cat eyed glasses, i put my hair in a low ponytail, grabbed my overpacked backpack, and headed for the bus stop. I stood by myself because the other students were laughing and pointing at me. I just got on the bus and got off and into the school I went. Long story short, I had a bad day, some stupid jocks poured water on me during lunch. I was just walking to the mall soaking wet. Then, I bumped into this handsome human being. He was light-skinned, had hazel eyes, Ray Ban glasses, and his smile was to die for.

"Oh. My bad. I'm Christian." He said.

"I'm Janay," I blushed. "Well, I'm off to the mall." I began to walk away, but he screamed.

"Wait! Let me get your number."

I gave him my iPhone 4s and he gave me his 5s, and we exchanged numbers. I smiled and walked away.

I made my way to Dale Valley Mall. I went to all types of stores to get me a new look. It's about time I needed a change. I went to the mall's hair salon. I decided to

get honey ombre highlights, front bangs, and bounce curls. Lastly, I got hazel-eyed contacts. No more glasses. I made my way home, and took a shower. I put my long hair in a high ponytail, and watched TV in my room, while doing my homework. Then, my phone beeped. I checked my messages, and saw I had a text from Christian.

"Hey, lovely."

I texted back.

"What's good, hon?"

My phone beeped again.

"Can I come over to do my homework because I'm confused?"

I texted back.

"Sure!"

I continued to do my homework until the doorbell rang.

"I got it mom!"

I opened it up to be greeted with a hug from Christian.

"Woah! You look different."

"Yeah, I kinda got a makeover."

"You look gorgeous!"

By that point, I was blushing like crazy.

"Well.. Well.. Well.. , who is this?" My mom asked with a smirk on her face.

"My friend, Christian!"

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Moore."

"You too!"

She walked into the kitchen to get dinner started. We were walking upstairs to my room.

"Wow, your room is huge!" Christian exclaimed.

"Yeah, I guess." I chuckled.

We just watched tv, talked, and did our homework. May I say, this was the best day ever!
