(Jenna's Point Of View)
I ran right for the elevator, sprinting for it actually. I couldn't be around anyone anymore. I couldn't take it. I know if that woman saw me cry she would think I am weak. I don't want to show her that side of me. She can't get to me. I have to stay strong and get through this. I watched the elevator door slowly close behind me when someone's slim body went between the two doors. I rolled my eyes. I was in no mood to talk to anyone right now and who ever this person is, is going to experience the bad side of me. Like I said before, I take my anger out on people around me. I turned around facing my back to the person who has entered, crossing my arms and not seeing who it was. "What do you want?"
"I just want to talk. You know, like the old times?" The voice sounded very familiar and right away I knew it was Justin. I whipped around and landed in his arms, squeezing him so tight. I just started crying. Crying right then and there. Into Justin's chest. He is the only thing I have close to a brother and he has seen me cry many times before, why not now? I mean the woman wasn't with him, so why not get the tears out now?
"I know. It's okay. Just breathe." Justin rubbed my back. When he said that I just couldn't help but think of one I cried about my dad in Harry's arms and when he told me to breathe like Justin is now. This made me cry even harder.
"Jenna. Listen to me." He put his hands on my shoulders and made me look at him. I just kept crying.
"Listen to me." He shook me. I quickly wiped my tears away and tried to hold them back while giving him my attention.
"Harry did not kiss that skank. You know that. You saw her kiss him and its not like he knew that was going to happen. I don't want this to ruin your relationship. I haven't seen you this happy in years! Last time you had a smile on your face like that it was because of you know... Adam." Hearing Adams name made my throat clog up. I never ever wanted to hear the boys name again, or ever see him again. He ruined my life and broke my heart. We were dating for a good year and I couldn't have been more happier. Everything was going great until that one night.
Flashback
I was in the limo with Max as he drove me downtown to Adams apartment. Adam was about 16 and I was 13. I guess you can say I like older guys. It was our one year anniversary and we were going to do what we did on our first date. Sit back, watch insidious which gave me the opportunity to cuddle up with him because I hate scary movies, have dinner, eat popcorn, and just enjoy our time together. When we were parked in front of Adams building, I called him but there was no answer.
"I'm just going to let myself in, he gave me a key anyway." I told Max so he knew I would be safe. I got out of the car and walked up the stairs to Adams floor. Sadly there was no elevator and I had to climb those horrible things. When I reached the third floor it was completely silent which was weird because he is usually blasting music when he is alone. I took the key he gave me out of my pocket and slipped it into the key hole. I twisted it all the way to the right until I heard a click and opened it up slowly. No noise. Silent. Where is he? I put the key back into my pocket and walked inside.
"Adam? Adam? Are you home?" I called out. No answer. What the hell? I walked around and checked the living room, bathroom, and computer room. He was no where to be found. I took out my phone and dialed his number. It started to ring and after one ring I heard the actually ring tone coming from his bedroom. I took the phone away from my ear but kept it calling. Thats when I heard someone talking.
"Its just my sister." I heard Adam grumble.
"Put it on silent." I heard a girl say between kisses. Are you fucking kidding me? He is cheating on me? Thats when I hung the phone up and ran out of his apartment, slamming the door behind me. The tears sprang through my eyes when a voice called down to me.
