"Diet mountain dew, baby, New York City. Never was there ever a girl so pretty. Do you think we'll be in love forever? Do you think we'll be in love?"

I danced through the halls of my home in Miami, the lyrics of Lana Del Rey blaring through my headphones. Being like this was a nice reminder of how my life was before the X-Factor, before I had met the girls. We had barely spent any time away from each other since their start on The X-Factor and, even though I missed being home while we were touring, I have to admit when we go on breaks like this, I miss them more than anything.

Dinah was back in California, Ally and Normani in Texas, and Camila and I in Miami. This break was something that I thought I would love but, to my surprise, it has actually been very boring. I had been home for a day and spent the night with Lucy and some of my old friends, but they were all busy with their schedules. And my parents had gone out for the evening, Chris and Taylor gone with friends.

Looking at the time on my phone, I saw that it was only 6:30 in the evening.

"You've got to be kidding me."I mumbled, rolling my eyes as I pushed open the door to my bedroom. Seeing the crate of records sitting in the corner of my room, I smiled instantly. Spending a night in, listening to music, sounded absolutely perfect.

Removing the headphones from my ears, I kicked the bedroom door shut with my heel and tossed my phone onto the bed.

Seconds later an unknown source let out a loud scream and a pair of hands wrapped around my shoulders. Without a thought, a high pitched yell errupted from my lips, a rush of fear spreading throughout my body.

The hands quickly lost contact with my body as I jumped forward, my hands grabbing the closest thing that they could grasp. In a quick motion I turned around, my eyes closed, and the pillow made contactact with the face of my attacker.

A sense of confusion took over as a familiar laugh hilled the confinements of my room. As my eyes finally opened, the last person that I had expected to see was standing in front of me.

"Camila!"I scolded, hitting her with the pillow yet again, though a chuckle escaped my lips."What the hell are you doing in my house?"

A smirk played across the lips of the smalled girl who was being consumed by her laughter. I tried to fight it off, but her laughter was just too damn contagious.

"That's the bigger reaction that I had hoped for!"Camila cheered, doing a victory dance.

I tossed her pillow on the bed, trying my best to keep a serious look on my face. Camila mimicked my look, sticking out her tongue.

"I obviously just poofed myself in because I'm a fairy."Camila said, taking a seat on my bed."Fairies can get into anywhere they want, Lauren."

"Camz,"I began as I stood in front of the other girl, my arms crossed over my stomach."Just because that's what your twitter biography says doesn't mean that it's true."

"You just have to believe, Lauren!" Camila said, throwing her hands up in the air.

I studied Camila, my eyes squinted slightly as I arched an eyebrow. Camila groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Fine, party pooper."Camila mumbled, letting her arms down in defeat."I came over about an hour ago and your parents were leaving. Your dad told me that you were at Lucy's but should be back at any time and that I was more than welcome to wait here for you."She explained.

A large smile crept across my lips as what Camila had said processed in my mind.

"So you've been waiting alone in my house for over an hour just to scare me?"I questioned, making sure that I had heard everything correctly.

"No."Camila said simply as she shook her head.

"Then what were you doing?"I asked, tapping her chin.

"I was making a point."She replied, a playful yet serious tone in her voice.

"Oh you were?"I said, nodding slightly as the corners of my lips tugged upward."And what point is that?"

Camila stood up, looking up slightly at me due to the fact that I was wearing combat boots compaired to Camila's vans.

"That I can still scare you whenever I want."She answered, biting her lip to contain the smile that was developing on her face.

With the memory of the first time Camila had scared me like that, and said the same exact words, I felt a warm feeling in my heart.

I wrapped her arms around Camila, laughing as Camila's arms wrapped around her.

"God, you're such a loser."I teased, squeezing Camila in my arms. Camila laughed, poking me in the ribs.

"You know that you've missed me."Camila stated, her arms hanging loosely around my waist as she took a step back.

I brushed a strand of Camila's hair back from her face, smirking as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't."I replied casually, though the look on my face made it obvious that Camila was right."I figured you would be at home spending all the time with Sofi that you could, though."

"Actually, Sofi is the one who suggested that I come see you."Camila explained, pulling me down beside her on the bed as she sat down."She's been stuck to my side since we got back from the airport yesterday. We've done basically everything that you could think of. Then today we were at the beach, having a picnic, and a few harmonizers came up to us. After we talked and took pictures with them, Sofi and I started playing and she just kept asking questions about you all. And she asked if I missed you all and I told her that I did, a lot. So she suggested that I have a sleepover with you tonight and maybe it would make me miss the other girls less."

With every word that escaped Camila's lips, the happiness that was spreading within me grew larger and larger.

"You do realize that we're going to be leaving the country in three days, right? Do you really want to spend one of your nights here?"I asked, tucking my leg under my body as I turned to face Camila. Laughing softly, Camila nodded.

"Yes,"She answered, rolling her eyes playfully."I am very aware of that fact. I mean, if you want me to leave then I can."She said, standing up from the bed. I instantly shook her head, grabbing Camila's hand to stop her.

"No, don't."I protested, tugging on Camila's hand so she would face me."I want you to stay."

Camila slowly turned around, a cheeky grin on her face.

"Good."She replied, squeezing my hand as she chuckled."Because I wasn't going to leave, even if you wanted me to."
