Project Blurr (Avengers x reader)

ummm..... what?

It's been a week since movie night and since then Bucky and I have gotten alot closer. yesterday he took me out to the city where I saw so many things and people. Bucky told me I looked like a newborn in amazement of all the lights I could see. Because we both have similar pasts, we understand when one of us has a nightmare and we comfort each other just like he did for me on movie night, I do for him. The feelings that I have, the safeness and, happiness, and warmth, those feelings are still there and I don't know what to do with them. I asked Nat what these feeling meant but she just thought it was adorable that I was "falling" for him, whatever that means. I got frustrated because she wouldn't give me a straight answer so I went to the next person that I thought could help. Steve.

 I went looking around the compound looking for him but I'm still trying to find my own way around here, on Wednesday I almost forgot where my own room is and I had already been here a week! I finally gave up on looking for him myself and got help "hey F.R.I.D.A.Y" I called out "Yes, miss y/n?" where's Capsicle?" I asked. I've kinda adopted Tony's nickname for Steve, mostly because it annoys the heck out the old man. "If you mean Mr.Rodgers, he's in the gym" the Ai replied. Good, I know where the gym is, I go there alot since I can't do missions yet (though I don't know why) so I train with whomever I can in the gym.

I made my way over to the gym, passing people who work here under Tony and a few of the Avengers. I turn a corner just to smash my nose into someone's very hard chest "ow" I muttered, rubbing my probably red nose "Oh, lady y/n! are you ok?" it was Thor, of course. "why do you worry, she's a Midgardian, she's bound to hurt herself all the time" a silvery-toned voice asked from behind Thor. It was Loki, me and Loki don't really get along and it doesn't help that Thor keeps bringing him here cause he claims he's "changed", I do my best to be polite around him but not friendly. "Loki" Midgardian" Loki replied while fooling with a knife in his hands. "come now brother, be nice to lady y/n, she's going to be here like it or not," Thor said clapping his hand on Loki's back

Loki just rolled his eyes with an annoyed sigh, then in a puff of green smoke he was gone, good riddance. "I'm sorry about my brother, he's not like that all the time" it's ok, I've gotta find cap anyways" with that I gave Thor a smile and a wave then started back to the gym.

When I got to the gym door, cap was already walking out "hey, Capsicle!" I called out, trying to get his attention "nope! I don't answer to that" he dismissed, keeping his pace walking with his back facing me. Why does he do this? he knows no matter what he does we're still gonna call him that. "come on, old man! I need help!" I don't answer to that either!" he said, still not facing me. I stopped walking and sighed in annoyance and defeat "Steve, it's about Bucky" when I said that, Steve stopped dead in his tracks and walked right up to me with a worried look in his eyes and face. I didn't mean to make him worry when I said that but apparently, I did. "is he ok? did something hap-" I cut him off " he's fine, it's me that should be worried," I said looking up at him, ugh! why do all the Avengers have to be so tall!??

Cap's expression didn't change, it still held concern and worry but the grip he had on my shoulders, that I hadn't realized he had, loosened. "come on" with that he led me to what I'm guessing his room. I spotted two chairs to my left and immediately went and plopped myself in one with a very dramatic sigh, Steve followed and sat in the other chair across from me. "so, what's up?" he asked "it's..." I hesitated because I'm not sure what to say, now that I have a chance to say something. "well? you said it was about Bucky but you said I shouldn't worry but that you should. so, spill" ok, ok....it's really weird, I have these feelings of safeness, calmness, warmth, and even a little happiness when I'm around Bucky. like on movie night last week, I fell asleep on Bucky and I hadn't been sleeping at all when I got here"

"he helps me when I have a nightmare, and when he's near me I can sleep peacefully, is that weird?" I finish. A grin crept up on Steve's face and his whole body de-tensed "he feels the same way" what do you mean "he feels the same way"?" just go talk to Bucky" Steve said with a laugh and that what I did, I was determined to go talk to him until I found him. I stood in his open doorway, he was too engrossed in his book to realize I was there. " hey Buck?" I asked nervously, he just hummed in response as he put his book down and turned his attention to me "sooo, I was talking to Steve about how a feel about you and all and he said was you feel the same? I'm confused"

I heard Bucky mumble "punk" as he got up off his bed 

"explain please" I stated, crossing my arms over my chest "it's not that simple" well make it simple" I retorted, determined to get answers. "I have feelings for you, like, romantic feelings" he blurted out. "ummmm..... what?"
