But he's your teacher? - Nathan Sykes (The Wanted) fanfic

Chapter 12 -

It's been a week since I spoke to Nathan, he dropped me back off at Dannis that night and hasn't texted me since. I've sent him a few texts but he's ignored them. I'm due to go back to Birmingham soon but I can't go until me and Nathan are on good terms, Mum and Phil said that's fine though. I got dressed and joined Danni in the living room, she was lay on her sofa in tears. "Danni whats wrong?" I asked. She sat up and rubbed her eyes dry. "Daryl, he's got a girlfriend,  it isn't even bothering me, i think it's just hormones" she laughed. I giggled and sat next to her, "who needs men eh? We have each other" I grinned. She nodded and walked into the kitchen, she made us a piece of toast and a cup of tea. I sat on her arm chair and switched on the TV, i put on Jeremy Kyle then reached for my phone.  I went onto Twitter, i barely used it to be honest.

The first few tweets I saw were boring, just the average 'can't be bothered with school' ones, then i saw a tweet linking to a very interesting article. I clicked it and was directed to a news page. I read the headline over and over but I just couldn't take it in.

"Boyband 'The Wanted' make a fast unexpected comeback

We were all shocked when they announced their split a few years ago but we did not expect a come back this quick.

They all went their separate ways in 2011 when an argument erupted within the band. Nathan Sykes, who was known as Baby Nath at the time, had a girlfriend who the other members didn't approve of. Since then they all went their separate ways. Nathan became a Maths teacher, Siva went over to America with his girlfriend and we know no more of what happened to Tom Jay and Max but what we do know is they are set to meet in studio next week to begin working on a comeback album.

We are happy about the comeback,  but the question is, are you?"

"Danni, read this" I stuttered. I threw my phone to Danni and watched as she read the article. She looked so confused.

"He was in a band?" She asked.  I nodded.

"Oh my god" she threw my phone back.

Nathan is back in a boyband, how would I ever win him back now.

I decided to send him another text:

'Hey nathan. Just read the article of you back in the wanted. Really happy for you,  i know you won't text back but i know youll read it. I hope your well and i forgive you for everything. Im going back to Birmingham soon but id like to see you before i go. Love Marnie.x'

Suprisingly he texted back.

'Hi marnie, thank you. We all discussed it and it's something we'd like to do again so lets see how it goes. Would love to see you :) let me know when you're free. Love u still x'

I smiled to my phone like an idiot, he doesn't understand how much that text meant to me.

I texted back asking to pick me up today.

I clipped my hair up and put on some make up whilst waiting for Nathan. Finally he turned up. I got into his car and fastened my belt.

"So how are you?" I asked.

"Good, you?" He replied.

I nodded. "So you will be famous again, woop woop" I laughed.

"If it takes off, i wont forget you" he joked.

"I'll be the girl who nade your night" I laughed.

"Too right" he winked. "Would pay for a night like that again" he joked.

"Hey" i pushed his shoulder. He drove us to his house.

I was quite surprised when i went inside. It was clean. There was even a photo of the two of us frame on his wall?!

"Explain this" i said, pointing at the photo. "My ex girlfriend, i miss her" he bit his gum. "She's a fool if she doesn't miss you" I grinned, kissing his lips.

"Can we have another ago at this relationship malarkey? I miss you" he admitted. I nodded, "No more chances Nath, i mean it". He picked me up and spun me in the air causing me to scream.

"When do you go back to Birmingham?" He asked. "Have to book a ticket back soon, i won't go yet though,  i can stay here with you if you like?" I grinned.

"Yes! But in around 2 weeks me and the rest of the band are moving into a shared house" he said.

"That's fine, i'll stay with Danni" i smiled.

"No you can share a room with me, but you'll just have to get to know the rest, you already know Tom though don't you" he laughed.

"And Max kind of. Sounds like fun!" I grinned.

"Im hoping we can be a proper band this time, no arguments" Nathan admitted.

"You will, don't cause any and you will. I best get VIP tickets for when you tour" i winked.

"Of course babe!" Nathan laughed.

We decided to go for a McDonalds. I got into his car and fastened my belt. We blasted their album out and sang alone carelessly. We got to the drive thru and I had to turn the music off. We ordered 2 big mac meals with coke and parked up.

"Imagine how much more romantic this could be" Nathan laughed.

"We only need a candle" I winked.

"Lets go shopping" Nathan grinned.

"I was joking" I said.

I took a bite of my burger then had a drink. "So what are we going to do today?" I asked.

He shrugged his shoulders, "could go swimming" he suggested.

"Unfortunately I didn't pack a swimming costume" I laughed.

"The lake, your bra and pants" He winked. I shook my head. "No chance, i can't even swim" I laughed.

I began eating my fries until Nathan kept stealing them off me. "You had a large, stop taking mine" I ordered.

He took no notice and just kept eating them. If i'm honest, i was quite bored.
