Chapter 4 -

2 weeks had passed. I hadn't seen Tom since, but that didn't really bother me because i'd been with Nathan every day after school. I had dropped all my lessons except for music, that was all I needed to focus on. Nathan - Mr Sykes is teaching me after school most days, then we go to his to chill out.

I got ready for school, done the usual, shower, breakfast, get changed, do hair etc. I slipped on my shoes and my jacket and jumped into Dannis car. Her and Daryl are together now, officially. "You look like death warmed up" I greeted her. "Thanks, I feel much worse inside though" She said. "Are you sure you should go to school?" I asked, she nodded and started up her car. We met Amy at the school gates, she still didn't know about Rhys and Danni, thank god. "Hey girls" She smiled, Danni didn't have chance to speak, she was throwing up in the bin next to the gates. I saw Nathan drive past, he was looking at Danni. He stopped his car and ran over to us, "Is she ok?" He asked. I shook my head, "She's ill, I can't expect her to drive home, just look at her" I said. "I'll be fine, honestly come on" Danni smiled. We all walked with Nath-Mr Sykes into the school. Amy had maths first with Mr Sykes, that just left me and Danni. "Marnie?" Danni said, sitting on the chair outside Maths. "Yeah?" I replied, "I had this feeling this morning in my stomach, I don't know what it is but now i'm being sick... Do you think..?" She stopped there. "Oh my god" I looked at Danni and went pale. "I'm pregnant" She said, just as the Maths class door opened, it was Mr Sykes. "You what?" He said, closing his door, "You weren't supposed to hear that" I laughed. "It's not funny Marnie, sir we're having a private conversation" Danni snapped. "I came outside to ask why you weren't in class" Nathan said, he smirked at me then looked at his feet. "Well now you know" Danni said sarcastically. "You don't know for definate  Danni, could just be a belated hangover" I suggested. "I hope so because I wouldn't even know who the Dad is" She bit her gum. I forgot she had slept with Daryl and Rhys. "Well I suggest you go and see the school nurse" Nathan smiled. She nodded then buried her head in her hands, I could tell she was crying. "Hey come on, everything will be fine" I assured her. 

Nathan went back to class and I took Danni to see the nurse, she told me to go to lesson and leave Danni with her, so I did but I couldn't concentrate. I went to music class and grabbed the keyboard/piano. I shuffled through my bag and pulled out the sheet that Nathan gave me. I started to hum to 'Show Me Love' and played it. "That's amazing" The boy next to me smiled, his name was Josh. "Thank you" I smiled back. I reset the keyboard and started to play warzone by Nathan. In my head I was singing the lyrics. "Have you played that before, in here?" Josh asked. I shook my head, "No why?" I replied. "Wondering, I walked past and heard this song, i'm sure it was that one anyway" He said. 

The rest of the lesson dragged, I just wanted to go and find Danni. Finally, the bell went. I grabbed my coat and bag and hurried over to the nurse. Danni was gone. "Where is she?" I asked, "She went home" The nurse said. "And, what's up with her?" I asked, desperately trying to get answers from her. "I'm afraid that's confidential. If Danielle wants to tell you, she will" the nurse smiled. I closed the door and went to find Nathan. Mr Sykes. "Sir" I yelled. Nathan turned around, "Marnie?" He smiled. "Nathan" I whispered, "I need you to take me to Dannis, please" I begged. "I can't Marnie, i'm at work, is she alright?" He asked. "I don't know, that's why I need to go and see her" I said. "Wait until 12 o'clock then, that's when I finish". "Okay, I'll leave the rest of school! We only have an hour left" I smiled. I went back to music to write some songs, I didn't know what to write though and I couldn't think of anything, all I could think about was Danni, Daryl, Rhys and Nathan. Lesson dragged but finally, the clock struck twelve. I ran over to maths class but Nathan wasn't there. I peeped through every class, no sign. I went out to the car park, I snook in between all the cars to his and opened the door, he was sat in the drivers seat. I gave him Dannis address and we drove to hers. I kissed Nathan goodbye and knocked her door. Her mum answered and let me upstairs to her room. She was sat on the chair by her window- wait.
