"Akia Saito, you have passed all the mental and physical test you need to in order to become a Nanba prison guard." The warden looked up towards me. Her stoic expression hiding any emotion. I can't tell if she is pleased with my scores or not. I should've made high enough scores to at least become an assistant supervisor of building three.
'Warden Hyakushiki, what are you thinking.'
Her expression subtlety changed to a pleased look. A slight smile and her eyes were squeezed shut.
Warden's POV
'Yay! Finally, another girl to talk to!'
'She better stay away from Hajime-kun'
Akia POV
I wonder what building I'll be placed in.
"Akia Saito you have proven yourself more than worthy to be a guard here at Nanba Prison. Tomorrow you will start work in Building 5."
Warden Momoko paused, her lips slightly parted as if she were thinking of what to say next.
"I think building 5 will suit you well, I look forward to seeing you around."
'Oh'
"Here as well. Thank you, warden."
That was too easy. There must be a catch.
Warden Momoko's POV
I've been informed that the new guard has just exited the premises.
3rd POV
"Are you really putting that girl in my building!?!?!?" The boy resembling a monkey in distress yelled, "She won't last a day!"
"Silence! I have made my decision, it is final! Ms. Saito's results speak for themselves! And they have proven her more than worthy to take your place as supervisor!" Momoko took a deep breath, " Know your place Gokuu. You are not to question my decisions." The warden retained her solemn expression once again. Bitterness took over the monkey as he sulked in the corner.
The room once again was quite as the Warden thought back to Akia's scores. All of them were S rated except for her mental stability. Granted it was an A rate, it could still be a liability. She would have to keep a close eye on her. It would be unfortunate if-
Mitsuru POV
"AWE LOOKS LIKE WE GOT OURSELVES A LITTLE SOCIAL BUTTERFLY!"
I slammed into the warden's office. "Looks like the monkey isn't too happy with his replacement!"
"Shut up! And she's not my replacement!" Samon's face got extremely red. He looks like he's gonna bust.
"Hey Momo, why'd you decide on keeping her? Who knows with that score she may be ready to slip."
"Huh? Hey Warden, what is he talking about?"
"It seems that Miss Saito's mental stability test score was lower than the rest. Granted it was still an A rating, but to not have her as a guard just for one test score would be a waste. All other tests, she was top tier." Momo explained.
"U-uh...." Samon stuttered.
