Chapter 1 - Awakening of The Dark Warrior (1)

''Each one acquires it by a different way..."

The first thing I heard before waking up from the coma, not remembering my name, not remembering where I came from, not remembering anything. I opened my eyes slowly while struggling with this strange pain in my whole body then I saw myself lying on a bed, I looked around and didn't recognize where I am, there were a lot of people in the room wearing white clothes working on some machines that looked like some high-technology machines from another world, I wanted to say something but I couldn't.. I had an air tube in my mouth; hands were attached to the bed, feels like I am kidnapped or something. Suddenly a doctor walks over me and pulls out the tube from my mouth, then rises two fingers up in front of my eyes and asks "How many fingers do you see?", "T...T...Two" I replied while holding the pain. He pulls out his pen and writes down something on his note book, after a couple of minutes and a couple of tests he gave me a shot in my arm, "You'll feel better now, and sorry for tying you, we thought you would wake up, freak out and run around" The doctor said while untying my hands, surprisingly the whole pain is gone, it felt like a god's touch or goddess blessing.. I stood up on my feet and looked up to see a man wearing black suit standing in front of me as he said "Look at you young man, looking all fine and healthy, hey doctor are you done with the analysis?", The doctor replies "Yes sir he's ready to go see the boss in the base, boss said he'll take care of telling him about everything", "Follow me young man" Said the black suited guy while smiling at me. I followed him over to an elevator leading to the base, after the elevator reached the first floor we walked into a hallway, the end of it leads to a huge base, it looked like a castle... A weird looking castle, we walked through a big room with a lot of creatures from different races and different tribes, there was mostly a lot of humans, werewolves and vampires which it seemed weird because there were a few elves around there, the second largest race "Wait how I know that?" I asked myself. Anyway... There was an old man with a red eye and blue eye sitting on a big black chair staring at a big screen talking with someone "We'll proceed with the next step as soon as we finish" Said the old man to the strange looking guy on the screen. The man in black walked over to the old man and said "Sir Drakos the subject alpha is ready" Old man replies after he ends the transmission "Good...very good, I was waiting for this moment" He stood up from the chair, walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder smiling and said "It's a pleasure meeting you Alex, I am Drakos the Elemental King, welcome to my kingdom, this man in black is Yang and his twin in white suit over there is Ying, all the people you see here are warriors and soldiers and heroes from all around the world, they live here train here and rise families, doing anything they want freely, also they defend this kingdom from any danger, we give them a home, and they help maintain the peace around here", I pushed his hand off of my shoulder replying "Noon of these are my business, but beside that knowing my real name is a good start, if it is my real name.. So I thank you for that" I crossed my arms and asked "Where am I? What is this place? And why can't I remember anything? And w.." he replied "Whoa young man.." he laughs "Take it easy, you'll get the answer of each question soon, but first let me show you the areas around" I walked with Drakos and the Ying-Yang twin around the castle showing me the place. We walked into a big factory where all weapons and armors the citizens use are made, then they showed me a big colored room where wizards and sorcerers create magic spells, make magical scrolls and practice the art of magic in general, we visited the most peaceful place in the castle and that is The Mystic Garden, where everyone can rest and recover their energy, but the best part of this castle was my room, I never thought they would make such space this fast for a new comer, I was amazed, the style of the room, the art that was used to make such a master piece, it was prepared by all tools and gears that a warrior will need and it also had a view on the beach. I don't know why it had a second bed in it, I felt like they were expecting me or something, but a second bed huh... that's a weird thing. "It's time for your questions to be answered, sit down young man" I pulled a chair and sat down, "This my son is the Kingdom of Draknar, built by the grandfathers of my grandfathers, I became king after my father passed away leaving me a great task of keeping this land protected" He sighed and continued "I won't introduce you to the kinds of danger we deal with around this kingdom or even in the whole world you'll have to find out about it on your own like anyone else, and..", "What do you mean by the whole world? Am I not from around here?", "Calm down son, let me finish" he pulls out a box from his pocket and continued talking "We found you unconscious in a forest to the north called The Forest of The Fallen ones, we brought you here and took you to our hospital, treated your wounds and kept an eye on you till your body stabilized, you were in a coma for about forty nine days, we hardly kept your body in a healthy condition with magic and serums, it felt like a miracle that kept you alive.." he laughed and gave me the box along with a letter and a key to open it and he added before leaving "When you feel like you want to discover more read that letter, we found these stuff at the same place where we found you, I hope that you're the real Alex or else the box will go a waste.. No promises though about getting your full memory back, as no one can simply play and tweak with memories, we'll see you later, for now let's get going Ying-Yang we have a lot of work to do" They left closing the door behind...
