Jane groaned cradling her head in her hands, as the light blinded her. She slowly looked up, the Thunder clappers eyes were an emerald green, as they bored into her soul. She cautiously touched her swords at her belt, waiting for the beast to strike at her. spikes led down the dragons muzzle and spine, it's nostrils flaring as it watched her.

The Thunder Clapper screeched, the sound making the ground shake, making Jane cover her ears as the shock waves hit her. She knew this was a beast not to be toyed with and that she wasn't sure what it could do. So she quietly stood up, her hands above her head making it obvious that she surrendered. Before whipping around and running, her arms pumping as she tried to put as much distance between them as possible. That's when the Thunder Clapper charged, grabbing her by the shoulders with it's claws, making her scream.

The beast shot up into the air, its wings beating hard and fast. Making powerful stokes as she watched the ground become smaller and smaller. She tried to reach for her weapons only making one fall to the ground, before grabbing the other one and hitting a random button. The air element shooting up and into the dragons chest, the beast screeched letting go of Jane unexpectedly.

Jane screamed trying to find somewhere or way to land safely, but the ground was coming closer and closer to fast for her to calculate anything. She knew that this was it, that she would die. When all the sudden she felt strong arms wrap around her and she was being pulled to the right.

She looked around, gathering her bearings and realzed she was standing up right and on the ground, glancing to the side she realized Jakes standing right next to her. Their gazes met and she nodded her thanks to him, he only slightly nodded back before his eyes glazed over. Jane looked at him questioningly before remembering the Thunder Clapper.

She looked around waiting for the beast to show its self, forgetting about Jake completely as she changed the element on her weapon to earth on one side and fire on the other. That's when she saw it, the Thunder Clapper looked like a hawk in the distance until it suddenly dived, its wings wrapping around its body as it dropped before snapping open, gliding a couple feet off the ground.

Jake glanced at Jane, watching her widen her stance as she prepared herself, the Thunder Clapper closing in on them. He slowly unsheathed his katana, the sound of metal on metal was the only thing besides their breathing as they waited. That's when Jane started to run, her blade out and in front as she neared the end of the street, she pounced onto signs as if she was a cat, leaping onto the oncoming beast.

Jake watched as her blade bounced off the dragons scales and sighed, he watched the beast get ready to shoot lightning at her. He put his katana back in its sheath seeing that it would be useless and put his hands together, a blue glow beginning to form.

He opened his hand a produced a sphere of water, getting ready like he would if he was about to throw a football. Right when he would have let go of the football water shot out of his hand, going straight for the beasts mouth and intercepting the lightning.

The beast shrieked and Jane let go of it covering her ears, forgetting that she's in the air. She fell to the ground her body slamming into the ground, the asphalt underneath her crumbling into pieces. Her weapon turning off as she let go of it and hitting the ground a few feet away with a clatter.

Jane groaned as she felt a hand on her, not wanting to move, but when he shook her viciously she started struggling to get up. Looking at him with a death glare when she finally got up, anyone with some since would have crumbled with the look, but he just stood there.
