It's been three weeks since Victor asked me about having a special someone in my life.
"Why would he asked me that?" I asked myself. I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door and found a dismembered head in a pool of blood. I grabbed my gloves from my right pocket and put them on. I picked up the head and saw the spinal cord hand out of it's neck.
I walked back inside, placing the head on a table in the morgue. I walked over to my landline and called up Victor.
"Nightshade resident," a voice said.
"I need to speak with Victor, please," I asked, calmly.
"Alright give me a few minutes," the voice said. I waited for a good twenty minutes.
"Victor speaking," Victor said kindly.
"Yes, I need you to come down and check something out," I said, glancing back at the head.
"Undertaker, what is it?" He asked, not really caring.
"A beheading," I said, hanging up the phone knowing that I got his attention.
~Time Skip~
I heard the door to my shop opened and then footsteps coming in.
"Okay, I'm here. Now, what beheading?" Victor asked, out of breath.
"Well you got here faster the usual but it's just back here," I said, leading Victor back into the morgue.
"So, how did you find it?" he asked, taking out a notebook and a pin.
"On my door steps a few hours ago," I said, uncovering the head.
"Really, but who would leave a head at your doorsteps?" Victor questioned, rubbing his chin.
"I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine but it just look like a new mystery to me," I added, walking to a chair and sat down.
"Yeah I better go find the body," He said, walking out of the room.
"Good luck," I shouted to him.
"Thanks, Undertaker. I'm going to need it," Victor said, leaving the shop.
~I week later~
A week passed since the decapitated head arrived at my doorstep. Victor kept in touch just in case something change, like another head or maybe a body.
I walked into the room that was filled with tombstones. I looked at a black marble headstone. I turn my gaze to another headstone.
"So, much work. Not enough time, " I sighed, running my hands through my long white hair. I walked to the black marble headstone and picked it up. I headed to the graveyard. I slowly walked to where the person is buried. I placed it gently in front of them, "Rest in peace, Lady Abby," I whispered, walking slowly away from the grave site.
"Undertaker, where are you?!" I heard someone shouting.
"I'm right here. What can I do for you?" I asked calmly, walking towards the person.
"I came here for a coffin," the gentleman asked, looking like death was about to take him.
"A coffin? I don't remember anyone ordering any?" I said to him. He started to get angry.
"Well, I need one now!" The man shouted his demands.
"I'm sorry but they are all in use," I said to the gentleman. He was getting irritated.
"I don't care," he yelled, getting more angry and irritated. I notice someone was walking towards us. I squinted and notice it was Victor. Victor grabbed the man. The man struggled out of Victor's grip.
