"Problems?" Russia asked, skeptical. America laughed, walking right past him and walked into the small group behind him. He walked past everyone, examining the new guy. He was slightly taller than America, and was definitely more intimidating than him. Oh, but he knew who he was. All too well.

"So.. who's this?" America started, a dangerous grin across his face. "Oh? It's the one who beat me up not so long ago?"

North Korea stepped back a bit, a guilty frown present.

"I-I'm sorry for what I did, I just want to hang out with you guys..." North Korea spoke defensively. "And we were just on the way to my house.. y-you can come if you want? I'm sure South will like you.."

"South? Is that your brother?" America asked out of curiousity. North nodded quickly, grinning.

"He reminds me so much of you; loud, emotional, video game master-"

"Hang on, hang on.. video game master? I have someone to actually compete against me?" America stood, amazed. He looked skeptical. "Fine, I want to meet South."

America turned to Russia, who stood right behind him, and gestured for them to join the group with a smile. Russia kept his eyes on North, not forgetting what he did to America.

They all walked through the park, America had noticed that North tried to talk to Japan the most. Hehe, looked like America was gonna have the crush talk-

"America, do you really think we should trust North?" Russia whispered to him, America shrugging.

"As long as he doesn't do anything to you or anyone else, then yeah, I trust him." Russia nodded slowly, probably still not taking it.

The group soon came across an apartment building in between two other buildings, it actually looked quite nice. They entered the building, a reception and elevators in the main lobby.

North walked past the receptionist who was reading a magazine, pressing the 'up' button beside the elevators. Once the elevator arrived, they all got in, coming out on floor 6. North got out some keys, only to find his apartment was unlocked.

"Ugh, fuck you, South." He grumbled, unamused that South hadn't locked the door behind him. He opened the door, an untidy apartment before them.

"Welcome home!" A voice from the lounge called. North rolled his eyes, leading everyone to the lounge. There South sat, playing on his PlayStation, giving them all a laid back look. America lifted his head up, about to challenge him to a game.

"I'm America." He said, jumping onto the sofa that South sat on. South looked at him for a second, before laughing.

"Aha, so you're the one that my brother tried beating up.. and uhm, who got my brother into detention. You look cool, by the way." South said the America. America grinned, he knew he'd be good friends with South.

"So, I heard you're a gaming master." America started, South pretending to do a hair flick even though he had none.

"I'm not surprised. I'm really well known in the gaming community-"

"Actually, your brother told me. Otherwise, never heard of ya'." America interrupted South. South scoffed, looking back to the TV screen. It looked like he was playing Rayman Legends, that was a really good game. ((I love it it's too underrated))

"Mind if I join?" America asked, seeing his friends walking in and sitting on the sofas from the corner of his eye. South shrugged, hesitantly pointing to a PS controller. America grabbed it, turning it on and logging in as a guest.

"I wanna challenge you to a music level, whoever dies first looses." America said, South accepting the challenge. Everyone watched intensely, one wrong click of a button would ruin it all.

((Imagine there's two players and ignore the intro))

South turned to America with a surprised face, patting him on the shoulder.

"Have you played this before? This level took me like, three days to master!" South exclaimed, turning to his brother.

"Yep, I'm kinda sick of that song now." North said, dismissing South's look.

"Meh, I've played a few times, but I have to say, you're not that bad, 'CyberneticSouth48'." America laughed, South rolling his eyes.

"Not bad yourself, 'Guest2488'." South retorted, like they were having some kind of username competition.

After a while, everyone began to leave. First, Germany and Poland. ((At the same time.. probably to Germany's place...)) Then, Japan.

And for some reason, those two brothers seemed to flirt with her. Yes, both of them. And they argued and argued, America was kinda sick of it, so him and Russia left after.

On the way home, America couldn't help but think of Anon. A feeling of guiltiness had set in the bottom of his heart, unaware of Russia to his right.

Suddenly, he felt two hands lift him up, Russia began to carry America bridal style. America was confused, Russia just kept walking.

"Sorry, you were just walking too slow. Tried talking to you, but you never responded." Russia sighed, soon kissing America on the forehead.

"Ugh, sorry, I was just thinking about how North and South treated Japan, did you notice it?" America lied, although it was a pretty believable one. Russia juggled it around in his head, nodding.

"Yeah, what do you bet they've both got a crush on her for some god foresaken reason?" Russia said, America laughed.

"Yeah, I was tempted to talk to North about that whole crush topic, but on the other hand.." America looked up at Russia.

"You knew I don't like you being around him without me." Russia finished. America nodded, leaning into Russia's chest.

Soon they came to America's house, the lights shining through the windows. Russia set America down, smiling at him.

"I'll see you tomorrow, ok, Ame?" Russia whispered, his hands on America's shoulders. America hesitantly nodded slowly, Russia sighed. "Promise me you'll be here tomorrow?"

"Yeah, ok. I promise." America said with a grin. Russia turned around and left, and America knew what he wanted.. no, needed, to do. He walked past the house into the forest, soon coming across Anon's tree in that small clearing. Anon wasn't there, that was to be expected.

America sat under it, years stinging in his eyes. He was in the exact spot he and Anon sat on one of their first days meeting eachother. The day they made a promise.

Can you promise me that we'll be friends.. like, we'll be there for eachother.. always?

America sniffled.

I promise.

America looked to the sky, tears falling from his eyes. He thought back to his promise he made with Russia ten minutes ago, laughing a tiny bit.

"Oh, Russia, promises can be broken. I learnt that from Anon..."

"And him."
