Jacob had been studying all day, of course he had taken breaks. He went down to eat with his family, he spent the rest of his time that he was at Sunwoo’s house playing video games, and he had even taken a nap. But still he couldn’t figure anything out.

Jacob looked up at his alarm clock. Kevin was really willing to come and help him out at 9 pm? A warm feeling filled his body as he thought about the boy and his heart started to race at the thought of being so important to someone like Kevin. He smiled bashfully before getting up and cleaning up around his room, walking down the steps and getting a few snacks before walking back up to his room and waiting for Kevin, texting Sunwoo about it while he waited.

Eventually, Kevin entered the room. "I used the spare key in your bush." He tells Jacob. The older looked up from his phone, jumping at the sudden voice.

"Jesus christ, you scared the life out of me!"

Kevin chuckled, giving a little devilish smile. "Oh, I'm sorry." He says but was he really though? Kevin took the moment to appreciate the natural beauty Jacob had. He basked in the soft, warm feeling in his chest, thanking the gods for such a beautiful young boy. His heart was beating like no other as he neared closer to the boy and sat next to him. The feeling was like no other but he couldn't stay silent forever. "So what did you need help with?

"This type of math is too hard." Jacob told him, opening the book to the assignment that was due. "This homework is due tomorrow and I have to study for the test tomorrow."

Kevin nodded, "I see. I see." He looks over the assignment. "Oh Algebra? This stuff is easy." He tells Jacob, who silently frowned at his words.

Kevin looked up. "What?" He asks.

"You don't have to make fun of me." He responds, with a small pout.

"I wasn't making fun of you." He says and lightly pinches the older’s cheeks. Jacob smiles a bit at the action.

The boys started in their lesson. Almost an hour had past while the two discussed the problems and went back and forth doing each equation on the page of Jacob's math book.

Kevin was leaning over Jacob to see his book as the boy hunched over, focusing solely on the problem. He took a quick glance at Jacob's face. Then eventually, another one. Until he was staring at Jacob. Their legs brushed slightly and Jacob looked up. Somehow the surprised yet classic look was intoxicating. The two made eye contact. And that's when Kevin knew.
