five ; sweet love and the test

Their lips moved in perfect harmony. Jacob's hands pulling at the strands of hair on Kevin's head, Kevin resting his own hands on Jacob's hips. The taste of vanilla and strawberries mixed to make the kiss even sweeter than it already was. It was the mix of passion and playfulness that made it unforgettable. The long build up of emotion that made the two boys want to kiss each other for so much longer but eventually they ran out the breath and energy and had to pull away.

They locked eyes while catching their breaths. Lovingly and gently, Kevin pulled Jacob into his embrace. Jacob could feel Kevin's chest move up and down and he could feel Kevin's heart pounding out of his heart, just as hard as his own.

They sat in silence again but this time their minds were racing in thought. No matter how much they thought about they didn't need to say anything because they knew. That kiss communicated it all, the pain, the joy, all the words they wanted to say.

Still despite not needing to say anything Kevin spoke up anyway. "I'm really you did that."

"Me too." Jacob says, a shy smile on his face. "I love you."

"I love you too." Kevin pecked a soft kiss on Jacob's forehead.

Oh, how sweet it is to love and be loved.

One day while Kevin and Jacob were on the phone Jacob's curiosity peaked. "Hey, so you never told me what happened between you and Chanhee," He said.

"Oh, I didn't?" Kevin asked, Jacob humming.

"I mean, I don't think it was ever anything too bad. We did argue alot and stuff but it wasn't as bad as it may have seemed. It's just that I felt our personalities never matched well and I guess we never really had a reason to get together. We barely knew each other." Jacob explains. "I never really trusted him and when red flags came up I guess I took the break up pretty hard, even if I was the one who brought it up."

"What kind of red flags?" Jacob asks.

"Well, do you think it's normal to insist your boyfriend said things he never did almost everyday but to mix it up with your 'coworker' who you claim you barely know any other time?"

"No! What the heck, if he wasn't cheating on you with a sign like that, I'd be so surprised."

"I want know, I wasn't feeling very good about that situation so I left him as soon as I saw an opportunity and he hasn't really let that sink in lately."

"No, no. I get it, I was just curious!"

Wednesday had come faster than ever. The day of the test, Kevin and Jacob had studied as hard as possibly over the past days, leaving Jacob confident in himself and his abilities. He walked into the class, sitting confidently in his chair, smiling brightly at the Kevin standing at the door way, who a gave a quick thumbs up before running off to his class.

The teacher handed out pencils, erasers, calculators, and scratch paper. Then suddenly the test was tossed on his desk. He took a large gulp and opened the test slowly.
