That fresh musky wood scent,
with cherry blossoms, lingering.
Or was it the nostalgic petrichor,
after those raindrops stopped falling?Evoking her symphonic memories,
she walked into the woods
Somewhere amidst the mountains,
under the canopy of clouds.Told stories of childhood,
her adulthood, and life.
Surrounded by the flora,
and those vivid butterflies.Touch, she wondered
Engulfed at the moment, but knew less
That her presence indeed,
was just a facade in space.Fate remains unchanged
Destiny was all her deeds.
Echoing fears, her eyes that darkened
awakening with the smell of night.Preying on corpses, anyone would think
She wasn't a relentless ghoul.
Waiting to be freed, from her slice of skin
but unknown to her,
she already was a wandering soul. Her miserable ecstasy
An oxymoron agreed
But so was her lively soul
All so true yet a dream to her likingA white silhouette that was disappearing,
of a lady with a tear-stained face.
Same scenes replaying in her head,
like it did, years ago or some decade.Euphoria, she asked,
the only thing in her entire life.
Not the brook of blood gushing,
out her heart by the shiny knife.Trust, she beheld
On him her entire life.
The hunger of lust was something else,
she was too late to realize. But then that she saw,
the shade of his evil range.
Red spatter decorating her pale skin,
was proof of her revenge.Dark memories tormenting,
every night she would cry.
For like a record, that day repeating,
screaming her pain to the sky. Finally that she realized,
fading dust in the atmosphere.
The moon was shining bright,
she was dead, she was gone!Like she had been doing all these years...
