"I like you" Taehyung blurted out cutting me off mid sentence.
The waitress brought out our food as if cued in between the akward silence.
I nervously chuckled and placed my hair behind my air.
I patiently waited until the waitress left and cleared my throat.
" Um.. yes, like is a strong word.. what do you mean by 'like me' though?" I asked him looking shyly into his chocolate brown eyes. He cutely laughed and shook his head aswell as biting his lip while not keeping eye contact.
He then quickly averted his gaze to mine and spoke up." As in more than friends. I think... I think I fell in love with you, as much as this sounds childish, I am dead serious."
He noticed the long pause I had, so he spoke again.
"I know about your last relationship, and how hard it was for you to move on, and how it's affected you, but... all I can say.. is that I'm different."
"I know.." I finally responded, biting my lip, looking down, while tracing the wooden table. "I-I.. I just think I need time to think if I'm ready to be in a relationship.. you know?"
"Yeah, of course... I totally understand you.." Taehyung caringly replied.
"But so you know..." I started talking gaining back the attention of Taehyung, his eyes tracing my eyes intensely.
"I like you too..."
